Heyy guys...today's episode was nothing short of a roller coaster ride for me...beginning with AN to a glimpse of RM after so long, and finally AR, who sort of stringed the episode together with their scene shown in bits through it...the highlights for me today can be summed up in three Rs : Rahul, who made an appearence after eons...Riddhima, who, as i see on the forum, is in the line of fire for her decision at this moment, although i think that would have been at a much smaller scale had Armaan not crashed his car in he precap...but the biggest R of them all, which held the entire episode together and had me hooked like never before, was Relationships, in their sheer rawness of emotion and complexity...đ
beginning with the first...it was absolutely delightful to see Rahul back on the show after soooo long...i hope things go forward positively from here on for RM...although the Purohit bit was confusing, i must admit...we'll have to wait to find out...i start with them, because i see their Relationship as struggling to find a solid foothold...almost as though, after having been through so much including a confession of their feelings, they seem to have come right back to the beginning...not a linear progression, but certainly not unnatural in keeping with the way their relationship has been shaping...đ
at the next level lies Abhimanyu and Nikita's Relationship, as they seek to understand exactly where they stand at this moment...although more of that thinking seems to be happening in Abhi's head while Niki busies herself with Suman Lata Dalmiyan, who, in my opinion, is more than just a complication...but that's a different story...as far as AN are concerned, Abhi's just found out that Niki is helping Suman with all this dating business...and i would think that the way he is looking at it, her actions would appear predictable, while at the same time inscrutable...inscrutable because of to reasons, the first being that as if their relationship weren't complicated enough, she's actually helping another woman claiming to be in love with him, and the second being that she is doing all of this just to get back at him...so where are we, right now? that is the question hovering over their Relationship...đł
finally, having already crossed both the above mentioned levels stands Armaan and Riddhima's Relationship...they have found a foothold, know where they stand...the dilemma is now with regard to where they want to take their relationship, and how...they're on the brink of marriage, and Riddhima does a rethink on whether this relationship is really ready to enter the level of matrimony...and to her dismay, she can find no conclusive answer until Armaan understands where the question is coming from, instead of dismissing it with a cheerful "main jeet gaya...ab yeh sab baatein chhodo..."đł ...i know that many people are virtually spitting fire at her for her decision, but if you looked at her face when she spoke the last few words before she left, every tear spoke for how much it cost her just to have those words come out of her mouth...it may be considered an overreaction from one angle, while it will appear quite a rational decision from another, considering that all she asked him to do was to think about what she said, not that she was leaving him...but the fact of the matter remains that it is what it is...it's complicated...neither of these three Relationships can be defined under a particular category or even a particular stage of love, simply because there are no categories or clearly definable linear progressions in love...which is also, at this point for me, the beauty of this show...
i hope things are taken forward sensibly from here...and positively too...thank you creatives, for giving me something so deep to think about today, intentionally or unintentionally...đ
