mhmm well i respect ur POV Gagandi....but between friends its all common i mean if Atul say the same thing to Armaan/Rahul i wouldv'e taken it as a joke only.....it was shown in a funny way..

@Atul's charecter.....i dun knw why you feel dat but i feel creatives are trying to bring back charm in Atul's charecter also i mean last week he rockeddd by being a gud friend to AR during dis whole ring fiasco nd finally he came to know dat even Angie likes him...

Ok i just read the first couple of pages and this page.. so someone might have already mentioned this but here goes my POV

First Armaan calls Atul a dog - well to tell you the truth i just laughes at the interaction between friends when i was watching the epi. It may not actually be common between friends to say something like that but i think there is a brashness in Armaan that allows for this and he almost always seems to mean it in a fun mode. he's dpone and said lot of crazy things so.....

Second point and i think the more pertinent point in this topic is Are creatives ridiculing Atul - Now on this i would have to say that in the beginning it was great. But then in between the essence somehow got lost.. and now recently i again see some of the essence creep back into his character.. be it the sensitivity he shows or the insensitivity he shows... Let me take some specific scenes that show me his essence coming back

1. Atul/Ridzi's scene - the way he handles it awesome

2. Armaan/Atul scene on the terrace - a combination of sensitivity and humor

3. AA and AR scene in Ridz's bedroom - the insensitivity shown there towards the fact that AR might want to be alone.. these are teh small things that make

4. AA scene yesterday - Man i loved that scene so much.. the joy the song I miss him singing songs.. they brought all that back...

so as such i don't fully agree on both points but i agree that in between Atul's character was used in a bad way.. its just coming back now again to be the person..

And one last point he did start defending himself, but then Armaan said So? and then he backed down so that he's done in the beginning also... remember those various scenes where Armaan threatened him with Physical harm in the beginning

but all of the scenes were enjoyable....

where i personally think Atul was not used well was when he was reduced to a person who was always just told Shut Up Atul and that his ideas are ridiculous and that he does not have a brain.. that in between time was bad but now i like the way they are handling it....

i know my first post can be a bit misleading..

I am more aiming towards is this what his character is left to do now?

but as Veena and you all said in All about love CC..

that he has been getting better scenes these days... (you all know i just started to watch DMG again so dont know what happened in the past)

It makes me hopeful.. that maybe they are trying to bring a change to his character.. .

I like to put the point forward that

Atul is a human too and i feel he has some dignity and self-respect..

Or you could say i am looking for more consistency...

When Modi was pushed into the swimming pool.. i wish Atul had not laughed and said "gayi bhains paani mein"

Gagan - lots of hugs!!!!!!!!! Its a lovely topic. Thanks for letting me know about it,.. nowadays i don't really come into the forum and read topics unless someone lets me know thats it interesting....

and coming to the point in red above - You don't know how mad i was atleast when the promo was aired i thought such insensitive people Armaan pushes him into water and then the interns laugh.. i mean it seemed to me the height of insensitivity to do that..

But then when i watched the epi.... I realized that they showed all of them with grey characters...

see Muskaan does not hear correctly and tells them that he is forcing Nikki out by the pool

Nikki does not speak up

Armaan does not let Nikki speak when ever she tries he says he knows what she's going through

the interns laugh and make insenitive c omments

I love the fact that everyone had Grey shades in that epi... now that makes it ionteresting.. people are never fully good or fully bad well there are some who are more good and some that are more bad.. but there's always grey in life.. once someone is ready to accept that then you are ready to live life to the fullest and have fun...

I liked the epi because it showed the grey in their characters.. which is always lurking in everyone

i didn't like that part either...it was too disappointing

i mean here i was sitting and enjoying today's epi...as today's epi was full of masti...n pop came that dialogue bout atul being compared to a dog...n i was taken back...

i was surprised armaan would say that bout his friend atul...
n atul will let it go so easily...n that too agree w/ it

n like you pointed out just few epi's ago atul was show making fun of abhi to stand up for his friend (nikki)....what happened to him now?...why couldn't he stand up for himself today....

i really hope the creatives of DMG gives proper thoughts to atul's character...i really like atul's cute character in DMG..
n i would hate to see his character being degraded like that😒

I think this kind of comments r quite common b/t friends...we use this kind of comments but we don't mean them as such...but I agree his character sometimes is shown 2 b very stupid which is wrong because after all he is a doctor...but I loved his scene with Anjali....was like old Atul...singing songs n all....

it was'nt that funny ..i dont know what the creatives thought while actually putting that ..... and lately never expected that they would make armaan say that
