a friend [Armaan] only jokingly called his friend [Atul] a dog

Hey Preeti!!! 🤗
I know he was not calling Pankit a dog, but his character Atul..
My only problem is that now it is being overdone...everyday his character is ridiculed.... 😕
once in a while.. i have no problem
It sort of hurts as being Pankit's fan as well that his character is always treated as such..
I usually enjoy the humor, but for me the dog comparison did not go so well..
well glad you all enjoyed the scene though.. 😳

actually dat kind of a comment is pretty common between friends..it just means dat u r not needed anywhere..and dat line is used to taunt u such...

i have heard lot of people/friends using it among dem just for fun sake..its not meant to be offensive..

but i agree dat atul's character has been reduced to either clowning around or either made fun of....and i wish it wasn't so..he's just so adorable....loved his scene with anjie today..he kinda reminds me of joey from friends..extremely lovable😳

I took it in a funny way, but you're right.
I mean, yeah okay, make fun of Atul, but why compare him to a dog?
I know they're not purposely trying to offend anyone and I know they're
just trying to add some humor, but still. Comparing him to a dog wasn't right.

I found it really funny when armaan said that, i did laugh but yes if this was said to me i wouldnt take it as lightly as atul did because it is an insult to call someone a dog. But seeing atul's personality and the relationship he shares with armaan, I think it was a light hearted joke, they do have the permission to say anything to each other when one is your best freind :)

I agree with you two...
Maybe it was for fun...
that is why i am not blaming Armaan here right now.. but infact the creatives.
Why is reduced to only being made fun of..
I guess for me.. my patience was over after this scene😕
What happened to the Atul, who stood outside of Aid wards remembering his father?
What happened to the Atul, who was scared to step on a baby snake?
What happened to the Atul, who rode his bike because he did not want pollution?
All I see these days is Atul being ridiculed.

Yeah, for me the Atul-Anjali scene at the beginning of today's episode compensated for a lot of the not-so-funny things that Atul's character has been subject to over the past two years...If I start talking about that here, it'll turn into a long essay that I'm sure not many people want to read...I'm just so happy that Pankit is our Atul...He has made Atul the most lovable guy ever...I just wish the character was given the sort of respect he had when DMG first started...I guess that's why I liked the AA scene most today...There were flashes of the Atul who could stand up to Anjie instead of being passive to everything.
Yeah, I'll stop now.

You know to be honest, DMG is very unpredictable in scenes, stories and dialouges. A good example is the way they turned abhi and nikki story and then the whole AA love story. These actors are really good freinds and its visible on screen because of their chemistry, whether we hate or love a character in real life all these actors are freinds, coming to the point all i am trying to say is that they sometimes add their own humour, Pankit, Amit, Karan, Shweta all these actors are pretty comic and very natural in DMG and therefore sometimes they add their own little comical comments to make us laugh, and they such best freinds in real life that if you notice even in SBS or interviews they make fun of each other and laugh with eachother.

I joke around alot with freinds, probably say worst things then this, but i guess the reason this dialouge hurts and seems unfair is because of the way Atul's character is dealt with, his always been such a comic all make fun of him but they do love him dearly :)

I know yaar. These kind of scenes are funny, but seriously, do some other things with him!
Instead of presenting him as a clown, show who he really is! He's not a joker that need to be laughed at every minute. I miss the emotional scenes he had...but even now when he has emotional scenes, they make them into a comedy. :( Enough is enough.
