Hey everyone,

Its been a very very long time since I posted anything over here... Not because of anything but simply because I guess I hadn't anything specific to say....

Over the last few days, I've been hearing quite a few things about Karan leaving the show... Whether its true or not, I guess no one knows for 100% atleast for now... So just thought of having some faithful fans views on this one... As maybe many would be leaving the forum as soon as, and if, the news is confirmed!!.....

What do you think about Armaan? Can he be replaced? Is replacing Karan replacing Armaan as well? Is it the same thing? Or is it entirely different?

I guess my answer would be yes... Because we've seen it happening with Riddhima, no one could deny that part... Once Riddhima was changed, whether it be from Shilpa to Sukirti to Jennifer, the essence of Riddhima's character changed over and over to blend the personality of the new face... Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the worst... I feel changing Karan would be changing Armaan as well... Now is that accpetable? That's another question altogether... Because during these almost two years now, we've ourselves forgotten who we watch the show for, Armaan or Karan... 😉 I don't know whether I'll stop watching or not, maybe, maybe not... If the new characters please me, then maybe I would continue to watch, if not, then maybe I won't... I just know one thing all of us know: It won't be the same, never again!!...

Hoping some great answers... and please no fighting guys, we are all fed up of that part... Especially when for many of us, provided the news is confirmed, DMG would be ending very soon and we might not be part of the forum except to criticise, which we are masters at!! 😆

IM JUST AS CONFUSED. I mean i liked the essence of dmg as a whole, but now due to all the changes that could happen, im not sure, if i still want to watch it or if i will continue to watch it

according to me....no 1 can be Armaan exept Karan............he is like him and he now rules in my heart sooo..........Karan cannot be replaced..................otherwise the show will become 0

sneha beautiful post....for me only karan is armaan and nobody can justify the character as he did....he outdid himself each day as armaan so for me karan is armaan and i have been thinking for a few days but cant bring myself to accept dmg without karan....so its not gonna be same and i am not watching dmg after karan leaves

Exactly why I'll be interested in seeing how many of those who claim to be "Armaan" fans will watch the show after Karan leaves. :lol:

A very sensible post, and I'm surprised to see that it's coming from (what I'm guessing to be) a Karan fan. No matter the changes, the show still goes on. If Karan leaves, its not the end of the world.

Firsty....Interesting post!! 😛....ans to ur post----CHANGING KARAN WOULD DEFINETELY BE CHANGING ARMAAN...n DMG definitely won't be the same!! it will lose its essence.....no matter wat happens.....if new interns come ...we get to see more love stories....unique or boring....DMG WON'T BE THE SAME.....im not saying that it won't be gud.... ITS JUST THAT IT WILL CHANGE!!😃

people say....that riddhima's character had to be changed according to the story......but in the change of both the riddhima's.....there was a change in character.....becoz of a new face...whether u call the change gud or bad!.....😃

Most of us wouldn't want to watch DMG..if karan left.....most of us...not all...😊.

One more thing:

Karan leaving DMG = DEATH of DMG n the character of ARMAAN !

ALL IM WAITING FOR RITE NOW IS THE NEWS TO BE CONFIRMED OR BRUSHED OFF AS A RUMOUR...WHICH NONE OF US IS SURE BOUT RITE NOW!

P.S......EVERY PART OF THIS POST IS MY P.O.V......some people mite think in a different way!😃

Karan is= Armaan for me! Armaan can't be replaced. They can just might as well kill off Armaan's character and bring someone new into Riddhimas life, instead of ruining Armaan's character. That's my opinion..

Hi dear, first of all, seriously thanks for replying... I was expecting, in fact, waiting for such replies... I completely agree with what you said actually... I can't deny I've been part of many discussions, been there and knew what the "discussions" would be about... That is why, I always thought I was more of a Karan fan than an Armaan one... Always been... You are right though, maybe we all will continue to watch it... How many though will continue to appreciate it? I guess we all know the answer to that question.....

As I said, and still persist, DMG goes on... It always has whenever there has been a change... And each time it has been changing the very essence of the character... But for me, somewhere, Armaan will be lost, because as I said, Karan blended into Armaan, and Armaan was born from Karan and entertained us for a good two whole years.... It won't be the same, better or worst... Lets leave it to time to decide!!...

Thanks for the replies everyone... Had some nice ones out there... I liked the concept of killing off Armaan's character... Atleast then, the essence would be preserved... And as a very nice hindi movie dialogue says, they could make Riddhima never forget him, but at the same time remember him in such a way that helps her live her life.... Awwwww beautiful, how I wish we had creatives who we could get our ideas too....

well no1 can replace armaan or ksg..whoever it is...d day ksg leaves dmg is end n dead for me...n dmg will end soon...
