ok guys.. im not very experienced in writing scenes, so bare with me, and i hope u like it!
Muskaan - (taken aback by his authoritative demeanor) Rahul chod mujhe.. (she finally realizes that she actually has to go through all the rituals and how awkward it was going to be)
everyone reaches the terrace.. and are marvelling at the beautiful moon up in the sky with no clouds covering it...
muskaan forgets about the awkwardness for a second and says to rahul, "dekh.. chaand kitna khubsoorat lag raha hai na?"
but rahul is in a daze, admiring her milky flawless complexion, glowing even more under the pure moonlight... and wispers in a husky voice.. "yes.. its beautiful"
muskaan, suddenly realizing his intense gaze on her, feels uncomfortable again.. "uh... uh...." but is saved by padma's words..
"chalo rahul, muskaan, lets get on with the rituals.."
muskaan is unsure of what exactly to do, so she decides to watch padma and shashank and follow them..
padma looks at the moon through the channi, and then at shashank and does his aarti..
muskaan does the same, and when she turns to rahul, she sees him staring into her eyes again..he is still trying to digest the fact that she actually kept a vrat for him!
he always thought muskaan hated him and couldnt stand him.. and thats why the news that she actually kept a vrat for him almost took his breath away... he was so overly touched that he didnt even realize the fact that she also probably also felt something for him and thats why kept the vrat for him..
he picks up the glass and makes muskaan drink out of it...
at one point, he accidently tilts the glass too much and a water drop trickles down the side of her lips..
unable to resist the temptation, rahul has no control on himself and bends down to kiss the corner of her lips and drink the water drop..
he is suddenly jolted out of his dream when he hears padma saying "ab usko khilao!"
he pushes his thoughts aside, and picks up the barfi and feeds muskaan
then, padma reaches down and touches shashank's feet.. he blesses her and smiles, promising a happy life ahead...
muskaan also keeps her plate on the table beside them, and bends down and is about to touch rahul's feet, but is stopped by rahul who holds her shoulders and makes her stand up again.. he somehow feels that he doesnt deserve this much respect from muskaan because knowing her from childhood, he knows how much she loves to eat, and cant even stand being away from food even for a few hours..
still lost in his thoughts, he becomes overly emotional thinking about how muskaan must have passed a whole day without eating, and gently pulls her into a hug.
muskaan is completely taken aback from the sudden gesture of his, but feeling rahul's arms protectively around her, she forgets about everything and hugs him back.. both of them feel the moment to the fullest, not even wanting to think about the awkwardness they will feel after this...
at this point in time, both rahul and muskaan actually feel like they're married... there is a very sweet feeling inside both of them.. a feeling that was calming and at the same time, accelerating their heartbeats.. all they knew was that they wanted to do this every year over and over and over!...
ok i'll stop here.. i wanted to write more and include other characters too, but its getting way longer than i expected, and its not flowing as i wanted it to... so i dont wanna bore u guys ahah
