Here goes: I am posting a condensed update, not a very detailed one.
Episode opens with yesterday's last scene where YS bullies Prem into admitting he wanted to kill Krushna. Sumati objects again saying her client is being pressurized and judge sustains the objection. YS says that it is an open and shut case....that there is nothing to prove and asks for conviction yet again. Sumi again protests and says no conviction can happen without proof and she asks court for time. Judge adjourns the court until next morning.
Outside the court, Nandini talks to Sumi and thanks her. Sumi says she found that the other lawyer was a fraud who ran away with their money and so she decided to fight the case for Prem. Govind and Pallavi are happy and proud but Aayi is extremely angry with Sumi. Gautam and others come up to Sumi and Gautam tells Sumi it is not easy to win a case against YS and that he is worried about Prem but Pratham is happy and wishes Sumi all the best.
Sumi and Nandini go to talk to Prem. Prem is being adamant and keeps saying that he will tell the truth in court and that he is not ashamed of what he did. Sumi tells Prem that it is time he stopped thinking only of himself but started thinking of those who love him and depend on him.....and tells him that he must cooperate with her. Prem looks mutinous and stares at Nandini who is in tears.
Sumi and Nandini come home and Aayi shouts at Sumi asking her how can she defend the person who killed her own brother. Sumi tells Aayi that she is a woman first and then a sister and that while she is sad about her daada's death, she cannot forgive him for what he did to Nandini and that she will fight for justice. She says that Prem is innocent and even if he did kill Krushna, she considers him not guilty.......Aayi loses her temper and slaps Sumi. Sumi goes inside with Pallavi following her and Nandini is in tears again.
Next day in front of the court, Karmarkars are on the steps when the Rajadhyaksh family arrives. Gautam says he wants to talk to Nandini and takes her aside. He warns her not to talk about her rape in the court, that she has done enough harm to the family izzat. As they prepare to go in, Nandini again notices the burqa person. That person also enters the court room and sits down behind the Karmarkars and Nandini notices again.
Sumi talks and says Krushna was a greedy person who did not love Sonakshi but married her for money. He always lusted after Nandini and she submits Krushna's phone bills in which there are many calls to Nandini's number. YS goes into sarcastic mode again and asks why Nandini did not complain of harassment and why she did not switch off the phone. Sumi asks permission to question Nandini on the witness stand. Nandini takes oath.
Sumi asks Nandini to tell everything that happened to her and how she was harassed by Krushna. Nandini talks (shown in mute with bits of flashback) about everything except the rape and the scene at Prapti's engagement. Scenes from the temple, bedroom, and the New Year party are shown in flashback.
YS then cross-examines Nandini. He asks her since when she has known Krushna and Nandini says she has known him since her akka's marriage and hesitates. YS goes into bully mode again and says she liked his attentions. Nandini is silent and he says her silence is admission of guilt.........Nandini protests that it is not so. YS then asks her from when she started hating Krushna. Nandini says that on the day of his wedding, and hesitates........YS asks her what he did to her on the day of his wedding........Nandini looks at Prem and the frame freezes.
Precap: Nandini tells in court that Krushna raped her........and collapses in the witness box. All are shocked including Sona, her dad and Mayank.
