Kalyani gone bonkers

I cannot for the life of me understand her. First it was Gautam that was and still doing 180 and now the bukhaar has passed on to Kalyani. Does she or does not she sympathize with Nandini? On one hand she claimed to understand that it was not Nandini's fault and yet everytime she decides to keep her away from Prem. Common lady, make up your mind

My friend thinks Dr K wants to protect Prem's feelings... you know, if he went ahead and ...uh, I mean, if he got too close to her, then he might not be able to bear the big news.... So she wants to keep them apart till the truth is known to all and then let them decide....

Well, then why is she being rude to Nandini?

Maybe she's being rude unintentionally... This is a pretty big issue, and I guess she feels a little let down by Nandini and her family for keeping such a huge fact from her... She was being nice and opening her heart and home to them, and they repaid by lies and deciet? Ofcourse she's human, and maybe feels a bit of resentment towards her.....

Nandini did not lie to her. I think Kalyani should be mature enough to realize that

Well, she does, but I think its all just too much to take for Dr K right now... Nandini's past, all the lies she's been keeping, Prapti.... I think she's being very calm under circumstances....

Kalyani should know that Prem loves Nandini too much and may likely to see that it was not Nandini's fault that she was raped and neither did Nandini lie to him or his family. Having said that, Kalyani should know that if she tries to keep Nandini away from Prem, he will only get angrier at his mother. If Kalyani was smarter, she would take Prem into confidence about Nandini's past and they both can help Nandini. The others do not really need to know anything at the moment.

Truth is always so hard to digest and it takes a while to get a grasp with it...

I am pretty sure Prem will be mature enough to accept Nandini's past. What i still cannot understand is his mother's (im)maturity. She encouraged Nandini to believe that she would be a mom to her and yet the confused woman is not really showing any empathy to Nandini. Yeah it was very nice of her to tell Nandini that she slapped Prapti because of her. Really, that is being so kind 😈

Sorry guys, they are really ruining Kalyani for me. She is sounding like any other MIL who will put her kids Prem and Prapti before Nandini. Like today when she asks Nandini where she disappeared rather than feel for the ordeal that Nandini went through.
