I loved how you replied to delusions of people with simple facts! 👏

Delusion is a symptom of mental disorder. This is a very serious insult to all the people who for whatever the reason have other opinion or view on the whole story&show. Such a term is more than offensive. This is really sadly.

@jabecastke: I enjoy your posts, but don't always comment on them!
I post whatever i want, and to hell with dissenting views.
Re the show, i believe, and have for sometime, that the producers wanted this exact scenario. They wanted Parth to marry Teni, and for that Shorvori needed to disappear. Cue tumors etc. Why so long though is the question? Maybe the script called for it, and they wanted it to seem believable? Who knows?
I think for some time they were trying to get Sid on board, but he stood firm.
That's life, and the show moved on.
In terms of the coming difficulties, yes Teni will have to solve the mess. She and Shorvori will have to come together to sort things out. Wish them all the strength and luck!

The dramatisation of Hindi Serials and its impact on reality?

As a fan of Parth-shorvari and their beautiful bonding, it immensely hurts me to see how Shorvari is losing everything one after the other and how Teni is gaining everything that she couldn't afford to even dream of?

It hurts so much to see how three lives are badly messed up, and for what? For a baby / heir, or to please a family desire?

If we look at the show objectively, doesn't it feel that there is too much of unnecessary drama?

Wouldn't the story / lives of PaRi be if different, if they had taken slightly different decisions at each of these stages?
- Let the family know about Shorvari's miscarriage as soon as it happened?
- Consult family before going for surrogacy
- Or Shorvari telling everyone about her brain tumour
- Or Shorvari now declaring that she is back and stop the marriage before happening, and tell family how Teni always knew about her brain tumour truth.

In reality, lives don't shatter this badly, because there is sense and logic behind every actions we humans take. But in Hindi serials it always runs on one emotion called "sacrifice". Where one woman just sacrifices and another woman takes advantage.

From a subjective POV, I feel very sad for Shorvari and mad at Teni. But objectively, I just feel makers waste our time, and waste talents of actors by putting pieces of crap together, and call it a show.

Why can't for once Hindi shows be less dramatic and slightly realistic / practical?

It would have been so nice if they had shown PaRi fighting her tumor together, and then even if she actually died, she and Parth could have made the best out of the moments left for them.

They genuinely need to get rid of the TRP system or their greed for TRP cos as long as this biased system is in all place...every serial that starts on a good note always becomes an anti-thesis of the message it was supposed to put out.

I really wish Colours Channel would stop trying to tackle these heavy and sensitive subjects of surrogacy/freedom from slavery because they're the most regressive and misogynistic channel who fool audience into believing they're somewhat progressive. They have never done justice to any plot they've ever introduced much less have written a cohesive natural script w/ characters staying in character and developing than regessing.

There's something so insidious and evil in a plotline that ultimately culminates in The Woman Who Cannot Give Birth losing it all and The Woman Who Can and Has Given Birth ('The so-called perfect woman in society's eyes) somehow gainig everything she wanted.

At the end of the day, the current TRP system needs to be changed and or at the very least the cvs need to be less greedy and end the show on a good note and stick to the message they promised to put out. Also the current script writers need a solid education as well tbh, same show in a different wine bottle on every channel.

Can't even blame the channels anymore...TRP audience have made this loud and clear. Look at the top shows top 9 shows from yesterday...atleast 6-7 of those shows have the most abusive and toxic pairings/script shown on TV (one of them has shown attempted Marital Rape and now attempted Public Stripping amongst other things) and yet they still top the charts despite having an abhorrent and senseless script.

I've seen good and sensible shows forced to become awful in the greed of TRP.

At the end of the day, it's not the script or the characters that make a show...just pretty faces and senseless scripts that promote abuse on women.

I don't know why you had to make an opinion without understanding what I meant to write. Did I say anything about story and show??

The post that I quoted was all about Sidharth. The member had written about how he had once portrayed iconic character like SRS and how a few qualities that Parth had, made him accept this role. It was all about what made him quit this show and how negativity that is spewed about him is baseless. There are posts by members here which bring in him even when not related, malign him even after knowing there is no truth to it, and directly attack his fans when they have no point to defend. I just mentioned how I loved the befitting reply to all those posts. I can't really help it if you misinterpreted it.
