Will people EVER understand that the problem here is not a bar dancer-street girl getting the privileges and perks of luxurious life, but the real problem is- to give her those privileges, the other female lead character who was a legally wed wife of the male lead and shared a lovely relationship with him, was unnecessarily killed 😕 Not everyone watches this show for Teni. The show was promoted as story of a married, childless couple and there were many people who were watching the show for them. All three lead characters were supposed to get EQUAL screen space and focus, but in reality it turned out to be story of one character only 👎🏼 It was always about Teni's dramas, Teni's nautankis, Teni's marriage, Teni's lovestory, Teni's blah and so on.. The other female lead was killed and the lead couple's lovely relationship was brutally destroyed ONLY to give focus to this one character, give her everything and glorify her. Why should we not hate Teni when she clearly ate our favorite character's screen space and eventually ate her?
This show was never about remarriage or a widower. It was projected as, I repeat, a story of a childless couple and their surrogate. Why should we not protest it when in reality it turned out to be something else..? If I have to watch a show on remarriage, there are other shows out there, there is one coming up on the same channel.. But this show was about surrogacy and it was expected to show the couple's journey as well.. But in reality the couple was separated so that the surrogate gets the life that she wants. Isn't this injustice to the wife?? And why should we tolerate injustice with a character for whom we were watching the show?
No one would have protested it if Teni was getting married to some other guy. But why Shorvori's husband? And as long as Shorvori is there on the montage and Rashami hasn't officially quit the show, I won't believe that Shorvori has died. This stupid track was introduced only to glorify Teni and I will forever hate Teni for that.
A question for liberals. Would they have accepted it without any resistance, had their Teni been kept away from the show for 2 long months? Why Shorvori/Rashami fans should keep quiet when the makers are consistently favouring only Teni/Jasmin? Isn't Shorvori also lead of the show..? From the starting of the show PaRi story was always compromised to give focus to Teni.. In the start they should have showed story of the couple for at least two months- the resistance from their family, a ray of hope in form of the baby, their hopes crushing down with the miscarriage and the situations in which they decided to go for surrogacy. All this was rushed in just a week so that they could introduce Teni from day 1. Would the liberal Teni fans have accepted it if PaRi story was shown in detail and Teni was introduced in the show after 3 months?
