I'm writing this as I'm not very happy with the way the story is proceeding. When the news of the show first surfaced, it was mentioned that it is going to be a 'matured' love story. What they're showing right now is far from being that. It has become a comedy show.
I know most of you will not agree with me. I'm just putting forth my opinion without being biased to any particular actor or character. I would've liked the creatives to show Teni falling for Parth than this new guy's story because the former totally makes sense. Falling for someone doesn't always mean you want to marry that person or be with him. Teni has never ever had the care and love of a man(father, boyfriend, husband, brother, etc) who could make her feel secure.
Parth is the first man who's so protective for her. Teni has seen his chivalry and gentlemanly nature and that could make her LIKE him. They NEEDN'T sleep together for the lady to fall for him. What I'm trying to say is that in this way they could've easily given us a genuinely mature and serious love triangle. They could've utilised these three acting stalwarts. If the creatives were capable, we would've got the most DILCHASP rishta on our show.
Sorry for jumping in the queue.
Off late I haven't been able to find time for the show or the forum. But today is a fairly lazy afternoon for me finally, and so I couldn't resist coming here. Still glancing through a lot of pages and catching up.
Coming to the point; I am happy with the concept of 2 pairs and Teni NOT falling for Parth. Triangular love stories have sort of become a cliche. Plus, given PaRi's relationship and Parth's character, a third angle will just not fit the bill.
Moreover, Teni is a smart character in her own ways. She will not fall for a man, who has nothing to offer her. And she is not the "snatching" types. Also she is not someone who would silently love someone from a distance.
I mean, she knows she isn't blessed with a great life so far, so as a character, it feels ideal that she yearns for a fulfilled life instead of making silent sacrifices.
I am also personally with Teni, in her worries for a secured future and marrying someone for the same. (Not saying PaRi are wrong in their perception), but I do not completely disagree with Teni's thought process on "securing" her life. I think she deserves that. Therefore the two pairs track attracts me more than a triangular track where Teni would have been ultimate loser.
I hope I can keep up watching the show on regular basis. Some episodes are good and other times, they put me off. But casting / acting is very attractive. The story suffers at times.
