She is full of life, she is entertaining, she is bindass, she lives life on her own terms, she is fun to watch, but all that is getting monotonous lately. More after she shifted to Bhanushali house. Its high time they show some growth in the character.

I mean who spoils food like that without even thinking a small bit about it?? It looked unrealistic to me.. And like every time, her stupidity will get away just like that, because the guests will like the food.

Bhanushalis have adjusted to Teni and her lifestyle, but it isn't happening the other way.. I hope it will be taken care of in coming episodes. I really want to see some growth in Teni's character. I am not expecting her to develop any feelings for the child yet because it's too early for that, but at least she can start being little generous towards the family members sentiments!

I got it what u want to tell and it's all here who want to see growth in Teni's charecter specially emotionally.
But i am thinking little different from your last line.
Personally i think there is no such deeply created situations from where The Bhanushali Family can show their love, their concern towards Teni till now and if the family can't take the 1st step here to make a relation with Teni then it's so obvious for Teni that she will not show any love and concern towards family.
So 1st baby but deep step should be taken from family which can shake Teni emotionally.

I agree with the TM's views . Teni's character is the lead now along with Shorvori and Parth , so being the central character , there should be some maturity they have to induce in to this character .

Its not about love and care, I am saying about adjustments. There is no love or deep care as such from either sides and its totally justifiable. Its all about adjustments at this stage.

But there are few occasions where Bhanushalis have mended their ways to adjust things according to Teni's preferences. Like in the Holi celebrations, they celebrated the festival according to Teni's style, over their own traditional way which they were doing for years. That was surely the first step from their side. Later to compensate for Sejal's behavior, they decided to get Teni married (which was a right thing to do strictly from their perspective, for a young, unmarried and homeless girl). Dadaji even backed off from his decision of marrying her off, which he doesn't usually do when it comes to family members.

But no such efforts are shown from Teni's side to adjust to the family's lifestyle. She always does whatever she wants, irrespective of consequences. I agree that the character is like that only and it can not change overnight, but they can at least show some efforts from her side. Yesterday's scene looked kinda annoying to me frankly. Jasmin is giving her best to the role, I don't want to see her efforts wasted because the character is not showing any development on this front!

There's no ill feeling for Teni's character. The frustration is on the makers and their faulty scripts. If they can show the head of the house bending on his principles, why can't Teni be made to follow Bhanushali's and their regulations. Teni, as an individual, in this fashion appears like an anarchist. If this beautiful character is bickered the reason would be the writers and not Teni or Jasmine.
Equal space and tracks should be shared among the three leads. All three are well known and established actors. I would have felt the same had the makers attempted to sideline Teni. The dejection is vice versa.
Involving PaRi in helping Teni work on her personality development could have relayed a better message. Teni besides a surrogate has got to lead her life for which she needs to be empowered. Who else better than PaRi could have been the medium to inspire and support her for a decent living.

Very well said!! Agree with every word.
Ofcourse, the fault lies with the makers/writers and not the actors. Not just leads but all actors of this show are doing perfect job in their respective roles. But the writers need to pay attention to certain things..
@bold, that is exactly what I am expecting.. I am not looking at Teni just as a surrogate but as a human being.

Thanks Rashmi. I understand die hard Teni fans would also support my concern for Teni's empowerment. Instead of showing Teni succeeding with her tricks all the time, she should be made to learn the basics of how to lead a .successful life. In reality ten lakhs is not sufficient to make a living in America. She requires some vocational training for permanent income. The makers could have drawn a leaf from Shaw's Pygmalion. Eliza doolittle was groomed by Prof Higgins, on similar line Teni could have learnt sophistication and dignity from PaRi. This could also enable her to earn her living.
The dish served by the makers currently, is tasting very salty. Right proportion of salt and sweet in the staple diet serves good to human physiology. If the imbalance continues for long, one has to bear for the consequences. Makers should realise this.
Love PaRi and Teni.

Love PaRi and Teni.

Very well said, especially the parallel you drew between Teni and 'Pygmalion'. They can show her growth as an individual like Shaw did with Eliza in the novel.
I don't want her basic characteristics to change simply because she's one of a kind and we don't get leads like her on television everyday. It's just the growth of the character, we all are talking about. As we grow older, experience highs and lows in life, we evolve... That should be the case with Teni also.

Thanks Yash. To improve the quality of the show and with a view to consolidate PaRi's status, I thought about the storyline in Pygmalion.
The sudden urge for taste is considered a common tendency during pregnancy. Teni could have easily managed to obtain the food of her choice. But adding her own taste in the entire meal was just not advisable. This reflected her dominance. At best she could have separated a portion for herself and mixed the tadka.
Yash, you feel it is necessary that her basic characteristics should remain unchanged, similarly she needs to develop mannerisms and traits that behoves Teni to make essential adjustments in the given situation.

Aaahhh...
Adjustments...
No Chance...
For Teni...
Cause she is clear at one point i am doing Favour to whole Bhanushali Family(though she is paid) so they have to do all things also PaRi is giving Full authority to her to do anything for sake of child or let's say here Mood Swing though i think she is at least trying to put some efforts to adjust just like Bhanushali...taking tea in cup instead of glass and such things...Lol😆
P.S.-For me your 2 EXAMPLE is not upto the mark for vibrant Teni who think about adjustment...Just thought.
First one is a gesture for guest for one time and second one is for all fault of Sejal.Sorry I can't tell this as adjustments.
They actually did nothing for Teni.
But yes if u tell same from PaRi's angles then there r few chance to mould Teni and making her adjustment(still screening till yesterday)
