Mumbai: COLORS has just announced that Dil Se Dil Tak, a dilchasp love story that premiered in January this year will now see Rohan Gandotra as Parth Bhanushali' while Sidharth Shukla moves on to fulfil other commitments. Playing one of the most admired character on Indian Television, Rohan will be sharing the screen space along with Jasmin Bhasin (Teni) and Rashami Desai (Shorvori) respectively.

Stepping into Parth's shoes, Rohan Gandotra said, "It's a feeling of pride for me that I have got a golden opportunity to play a well-established character of Parth' that is loved by many. 2017 couldn't have ended better than this. I've seen Siddharth Shukla's work and he's done a remarkable job! His character has different layers to it, and I am eager to explore it and learn more. I'm hoping to do justice to the show and hope to create a place in the hearts of the viewers.

Biding adieu to the show, Siddharth Shukla said, "Somewhere I wasn't creatively intrigued with the way Parth's character was shaping up in the show and hence decided to opt out rather than have creative differences. COLORS has played a pivotal role in shaping up my career and I want to thank them for their continued support. I wish the show all the best.

Dil Se Dil Tak traces the life of a millennial couple Parth and Shorvori whose love for each other, the highs and lows in their marriage and the obstacles in their life opens door for Teni's uninhibited involvement.

Fulfill other commitments...interesting..i hope its some new show or even a movie would do...but jo bhi hai..cant thank the guy enough for leaving this show...i realised how much the respect for him has gone up after that wretched tweet by colors(which the cowards deleted eventually 😆 wonder why)

I may sound stupid..but he should move on from colors...i am done with that channel and its shitty shows...5 years is more than enough..he has given them fame and they have helped him shape up his career...he shud move on from rangeela

And that last para... 🤪 🤪 teni's uninhibited involvement...my foot...its all forced and unwanted involvements...traces the life of how a surrogate can become a sautan...i still feel so cheated 😡

Thanks for the article but it seems Rashami might come back now. Of course with Sid quitting, they've already suffered the biggest blow to their poor storyline. Mostly no one wants Parth- Teni.

The death sequence of Shorvori and Parth's breakdown after that, the only thing that wasn't illicit and cheap in DSDT 😛, makes it to the list of heart breaking moments of 2017!

There is something completely weird about sid and playing father onscreen 😆
Either his character dies..or he leaves the show...
And today..i realised another similarity...how come all his onscreen daughters get kidnapped after he exits the show? 😆 😆
The same happened in BV..and now its happening in this show too...

Talking about BV..i now realise what brilliant writers bv had...every sensitive issue..child marriage..widow remarriage...date rape...divorces...ivf tracks..complications in relationships was handled with so much maturity and sensitivity...and not one scene made you cringe...unlike this show makers..well i shudnt even be comparing...i really did under estimate the writes of that show..no wonder it went on to become a cult show and still is remembered for its fab storyline and brillinag performances...

I want to see sid in something else apart from romance..somehow all the love stories he has been a part of has a sad ending and heartbreaking
I would like to see him do a mytho role..of some eccentric characters like Raavan..or vishwamitra...both are very powerful..and they have so many shades in their characters..be it as a warrior..a king.passionate lovers...spiritual..it will be a good learning experience for him too...
I am missing him onscreen already 🤔
