How long does Indian t.v shows take to get back to ususal cring-worthy drama? In case of this show, 4 episodes!
Teni's drama was unrealistic and ott...She practically created a scene right in middle of the road! I don't see why a character has to be ott and this dramatic to look funny and different? She can be shown fun-loving and ill-mannered girl without so much of silliness!
Parth-Shorvori's romance was just another ususal tactics shown in daily soaps. Parth could have made Shorvori happy without decking her up with her bridal wear and so much drama. (Btw Shorvori looked beautiful)
Nothing good was shown in today's episodes! Does a fun-loving guy needs to be so otp to show that he is expressive in nature? Doesn't Parth has a job to do? Who takes care of business if the whole family is busy with celebrations and visits to Jalpa on daily basis?
I'm sorry but today's episode disappointed me to the core. I really wonder what new this show can gives us except a new jodi? Even Parth-Shorvori's chemistry was muddled by their otp dance and happiness!
Why don't they just move out of the house instead of living there and getting insulted on daily basis? If they do not feel that they have done anything wrong then why should they face such insults on daily basis? Even tenants are treated with more love and care than the son & daughter-in-law of the house.
I had my doubts that whether Colors is capable of presenting something new and different now and unfortunately this show hasn't't done much to curb my doubts. If anything they have only strengthen my belief that Colors can bring the most innovative story and destroy it will otp settings and silly drama.

I have a bit different opinion.

The only thing that disappointed me in the episode was the romance. It was more filmy than cringeworthy. They could have made it more subtle. I hope they don't use 90s songs on them in the future scenes !! 😆 Shorvori's accident, which was quite a realistic thing that could have happened with anybody, looked filmy as well because of the preceding scenes. Thankfully their bedroom scene was cute and entertaining, they were much like any other young couple expecting their first child.

I didn't find Teni's scene unrealistic. The character is already shown to be over the top, the dance in yesterday's episode showed that. She was a bar dancer, she is not just any other ill mannered girl. I feel it is the requirement of the character to create scenes out of everything! Her scenes with Parth were entertaining though, and for sure they (Parth and Teni) will have unusual but great chemistry as the story proceeds.

Why they are not moving out of that house- well you should not ask such questions in Indian family dramas !! 🥱 Still, the show is just four episodes old, so I am ready to give a chance to them to justify Parth's unconditional love towards family despite bearing insults.

the biggest problem with the show is still the pace in my opinion, they are running the story so fast that they are not able to detail out on many things which are needed to establish the characters and their relationships with each other.

I know that Teni is supposed to a over the top character but today they had over done it. You can be over the top without creating such a scene. The walk was way too weird. I have come across bar dancers and they do not exactly do such things.
The romance was cring worthy because of the dance in whole house. Then the sudden dance when they moved in the nursery. It killed the emotion characters were suppose to feel after lookin at the nursery for the first time. Also how was Parth able to create a nursery in another room when he is not allowed to do much in the house without the permission of his dadaji.
Unconditional love need not be equated with patience to bear all insults. I could understand if Parth and Shorvori were newly married but they are not. They have been married for 2 years. If Shorvori can feel sorry for being the reason behind Parth and his family's separation then does Parth has no guilt in him for putting Shorvori through such insults on daily basis?
I would enjoy this show more if they do not repeat such acts on daily basis. Today they killed half of the episode just to make Shorvori happy!
Those small and sweet moments like Parth and Shorvori's talk about the baby in the bedroom were great to watch. That was actually the only thing I liked in today's episode.

Don't get me wrong...i'm not giving up on the show but I am done with ott dialogues and drama in Indian shows. How can someone have the talent of destroying even a brilliant story with such daily soaps cliche? Can the show not be made without such nonsense. Many new shows have been able to do so and I really hope DSDT also becomes slightly more realistic in nature.

Colors channel is anything but progressive...their way of showing progressiveness is also weird.
When did Shorvori gave orders to Parth to do anything?

I wudnt use cringy..but the episode was very filmy...they cud have avoided the dance drama part a bit.
The sindoor sentiment is prevalent in almost all serials..its like the must in every show these days so i am
Not surprised. Teni is fine..but they need to tone down her character as well..But why are they rushing so much? They should slow down the pace. Else viewers will not be able to connect with the character
As long as the lead couple are shown i have no issues watching it even if it is soo cheesy as today's episode.. The romance seems pretty realistic..making coffee for ur wife..sleeping on her lap etc etc is a very usual thing which happens in every household and they have shown it pretty naturally here..
The comfort level of sid and rashmi makes the scenes looks all the more sweet and natural..
But the makers really need to slow down..i agree the PH is doing things after much introspection..we need to wait and watch as to what their plan is

Completely agree with you on all the points. The singing and dancing around the house and then at the nursery was way too much. And that minor fall is gonna be the reason she can't have babies anymore?
