The episode starts with Uma reaching Singh mansion while sobbing. Gayatri asks her about her state but just then the doorbell rings. It's Ananya and she came to ask Uma why she is asking her to stay away from Viraj and why she is so fearful of this. Uma doesn't say anything but Ananya is constantly pleading her to tell her everything about Jhanvi (ugh, but she said 'Sia'. Not again). Uma starts narrating the story of Jhanvi's life with Viraj which the audience sees through flashbacks - their first meeting to talk about the marriage proposal, the scene after where Uma is proud to have gotten such a son-in-law for Jhanvi, the scene where Jhanvi's father is attacked by people because of the scam, and the scene where Dadi falls off the terrace and Jhanvi runs after her.
When the narration was over, Uma starts crying and Gayatri goes to give her a hug. Ananya puts her hand over her heart crying as well. Gayatri states how Jhanvi never told anyone about her plight which is why she continued to be abused by Viraj. However, when she did tell Gayatri she didn't believe it at first (err... what? Lol) until she saw the CCTV footage of Viraj abusing Jhanvi. Ananya asks if she can use this footage for her show and Gayatri allows her. Ananya requests for everyone to come to the show and Gayatri agrees. Just then Ananya notices a door moving due to the wind. She gets curious and asks whose room that is to which, I think, Gayatri says it's Raghav and Sia's room. Ananya asks if she can take a look at the room and Gayatri consents.
Scene switches to Viraj laying on his bed shouting for Unniyal. Unniyal runs to Viraj asking him what is wrong. Viraj stands up and announces that they need to get ready. Unniyal is excited as he was confident Viraj would have something up his sleeve to win this live show. However, Viraj shuts Unniyal up and tells him to get his Versace suit, Gucci belt, Prada shoes and Aviators ready as they are at war. đ Unniyal has trouble remembering all that Viraj has asked for. đ
Scene switches to a garlanded photo of Jhanvi while Ananya's reflection hovers over it. She touches it and then starts observing the entire room. While she's walking around the camera pans to Jhanvi's medical reports on her heart surgery that is on the table. However, Ananya hasn't noticed it and continues observing the room. She sees a sindoor box and opens it, looking at it solemnly. Just then the scene transitions to Viraj getting a pinch of the sindoor and applying it to Jhanvi's photo. He says to Jhanvi's photo that he is sorry for doing all this, however, he doesn't want their relationship to be made a joke and neither does he want people pointing fingers at their relationship. He has to answer all the questions that will be directed at their relationship and he is aware Ananya will try everything to make him lose. While he says that, the camera pans to a photo of Ananya on Viraj's mirror. Viraj pours the entire sindoor on his hand and smears it on her picture saying he will not let her win. Both pictures of Jhanvi and Ananya are placed next to each other on the mirror with Viraj's reflection in the middle. He touches Jhanvi's photo lovingly and then his eyes dart towards Ananya's photo, looking angry.
Ananya is still in their room. The wind is blowing so she goes to close the window. As soon as she starts walking away the window opens again and Ananya turns around looking surprised. Jhanvi's medical reports fall to the ground and Ananya notices it.
The scene shifts to Gayatri and Uma where Gayatri praises Ananya for doing so much for them despite having any ties with them. Uma suddenly realizes that she left Jhanvi's medical file in her room and gets up to retrieve it. Gayatri stops her asking why that is such a necessity at this time and Uma states that the doctor has said the person with Jhanvi's heart should never know who the donor is. Gayatri acknowledges that fact but asks why she is worried if Ananya reads it. Then Uma finally states that Ananya is the girl who has Jhanvi's heart ' Gayatri is shocked.
Uma gets worried that Ananya shouldn't know Jhanvi is her donor. If Ananya knows then Viraj will know, and if Viraj knows then Ananya might face the same fate as Jhanvi. Just when she is about to go to the room Ananya comes to the living room holding Jhanvi's medical file and staring at it intently. She goes to Uma and asks if that is Jhanvi's medical file and that it is written that Jhanvi was given an antidote immediately after she consumed poison. She asks Uma if that is true. Uma immediately asks after if Ananya has read anything else, Ananya denies saying she got confused after reading the antidote part but turns the page of the file to read more. Just before she can, Uma snatches the file from her saying nothing is written and there is no use talking about Jhanvi's death now when she is already dead. Gayatri goes on to explain that it was Viraj who gave Jhanvi the antidote, to which Ananya is surprised, but by then it was too late as the poison started showing its effect. Uma elaborates by saying that Jhanvi died while being taken to the hospital. Ananya is frustrated that Viraj was always after Jhanvi and never let her live in peace. She promises she will bring justice to the family and leaves, leaving her bag on the couch.
Gayatri tells Uma that Ananya has Jhanvi's heart, and neither Viraj nor Ananya knows about this fact. Uma says that times have changed but the situations are still the same. When Jhanvi was alive they couldn't keep Viraj away from her and now they can't keep Ananya away from Viraj. Gayatri tells Uma not to worry as the battle Jhanvi left will be fought and won by Ananya. Just then a phone drops to the ground and Gayatri and Uma are shocked. It's Ananya who has heard everything. She puts her hand to her heart and says 'Sia' (why couldn't she say 'Jhanvi'? That would have made more sense). Ananya starts breathing heavily and is falling to the ground ' Gayatri and Uma rush to her side asking what is wrong.
Scene shifts to Ananya's room where she is sleeping on her bed. Her mom then goes towards Gayatri and Uma and states how it is such a weird game God has played that the person who Ananya is fighting for has her heart beating inside her. Gayatri responds saying that this is why she wants Ananya to stay away from Viraj. If Viraj finds out that Ananya has Jhanvi's heart he will not leave her, just like Jhanvi, and wonders if she will meet the same fate as her. Ananya's mom wipes her tears and responds that she will not let anything happen to Ananya. She calls up Raj and tells him Ananya will not do any show. Raj asks for the reason and the mom says that she doesn't want Ananya to appear in front of Viraj, and tells Raj to tell the boss to cancel the show. Raj states how the show cannot be canceled at this point and asks what has happened to Ananya. The mom says how Ananya suddenly fell ill and the doctor prescribed her some medicines. She continues on to say that Ananya will recover but she will not do any show with Viraj. The camera shows Ananya's face and the episode ends.
Precap: Ananya is in a dark room; she looks around and suddenly hears Viraj's laughter. Just then Viraj is also shown laughing. He says 'Hello' and Ananya, scared, turns around to see that Viraj is behind her. Viraj says that he knows that she has Jhanvi's heart and he will retrieve it from her whether she likes or not. Viraj is coming towards Ananya while Ananya is walking back and just then she screams.
