From the looks of it seems that the cvs are finally going for Viraj's redemption track.I hope they don't make him negative again🤢Also they should show flashbacks of Viraj's childhood. His abusive childhood had turned him what he is today. OCPD only aggravated the situation. I once read the true story of a woman who was abused in childhood by her own father🤢The father was abused by his own mother. The woman grows up and gets married. She beats and abuses her son.
Hence, this kind of tendency to abuse seems to be passed from one generation to another. Viraj's father abused him and his mother. Does Viraj having an abusive past absolves him from his deeds? No but Viraj can never repent or become normal unless he learns to come in terms with his abusive past. By showing his past the CVS can also show the extent of damage childhood abuse can do to a person.
The CVS had already messed up with the storyline by making Viraj extreme in his villainous acts. If they plan to show a redemption track then they should show his past otherwise the story will be heavily lopsided🥱. I want to see Viraj coming in terms with his abusive past, realizing how he ruined his chances of happiness by following his father's footsteps, going to jail and doing the jail term he is supposed to do.Then they can show him make up to the people he hurt. I hope they do not show the redemption as a twisted way of reuniting Viraj and Jhanvi. That would be highly inappropriate.I hope I made sense😕

Anastasia good point ..if at all they ever want to focus on viraj redemption, then i hope they start showing it from his past ,reg his thought process ..what made him think this way? ,why he chose to opt these methods treating a women and stuff 😕 yes he has abused and he needs to be punished but the reason for it needs to be shown aswell ..they can't skip this part , moreover they introduced mental disorder OCPD, so wish there's also focus on it while dealing wid the redemption and they can connect all these wid the past and that would be the better way to start wid rather than him realizing his mistakes and changing himself normally ...

Regarding the jail term, I suspect that he could lawyer up and get it reduced/waived because of the unethical and illegal punishment he was subjected to while he was incarcerated.

Lol after reading your post I did a google search on ocpd.I am quoting wikipedia:
Obsessive–compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a pervasive pattern of preoccupation with orderliness, perfectionism, mental and interpersonal control at the expense of flexibility, openness, and efficiency.[1] In contrast to patients of Obsessive-compulsive disorder, people experiencing OCPD generally perceive their behaviors as correct and desirable. It causes major suffering and stress, especially in areas of personal relationships.Persons with OCPD are usually known to be inflexible and extremely controlling. They may find it hard to relax, and feel the need to plan out their activities down to the minute.
Unlike OCPD, OCD is described as invasive, stressful, time-consuming obsessions and habits aimed at reducing the obsession related stress. OCD symptoms are at times regarded as ego-dystonic because they are experienced as alien and repulsive to the patient. Therefore, there is a greater mental anxiety associated with OCD.
I hope now you can see the difference between the two😃
