For many people this current track for Sia is a no winner. For some of us it's acceptable. WHY?
Let's discuss...
There are plenty of DV cases, each case is different, each woman is different.
Some want to see Sia married and being strong and on the other hand some wanted to see her independent.
CV's have only one Sia, which way should they have made her go. We all know whichh way the CV's have made her go.
What would have been interesting is showing two parallel leads in the same position - One That gets married and becomes independent on her own.
A bit like the show Hubahu. Twin sisters - One with a family and the other single with a career.
This would have shown nicely the pros and cons.
I think the CV's have limited themselves with one DV victim.
Maybe they should have shown two wives of V - Suffering DV and fleeing - One becomes independent and the other gets married to Raghav or something like that.

O.K. Now that's a lot of food for thought. If I have any ideas I'll certainly add to your post.

actually, the cvs had a golden opportunity with sia and komal... komal being shown as a little reserved, but strong and independent.. carrying on without another man in her life, and sia taking a little while longer.. and moving on with another man in her life... but cvs dashed this with komal being shown dead!!!! 😳 and dashing the concept of DV all together.. 😕

Yes. BUT they need to show not to single women - but ppl who have suffered the same exp - DV. So Komal and Sia comparison can't be appropriate in that particular sense.
I honestly don't see the DV being dashed. I think they have justified and gave a solution.
Do u think by caring for V makes Raghvi weak. I don't think that - If anything I feel it makes them STRONGER.

Two wives for VD😲, one torture is enough as another would have made the show unbearable to watch😆
Many married woman are independent and successful, but here they should have showed J /S standing on feet first then show getting married with R and living a perfect happy life. Here every thing is ready made for her. A perfect husband , loving in laws and Palace like mansion and multi crore business empire and Ashram is also their property. Do anyone get this type of perfect combination in real ? .But again its only a show so any thing can happen.

Think SB had shown extreme of both sides.Be it V s evilness or R s goodness where as life is somewhere between these two .

Agree.. but now a days I think the audience wants the easy bait.. they want to see pratoganist marry a rich good boy, have their own business empire - like Pratigya. I think Sia's new life has been copied by Pratigya show.

Its rule of TV world that lead protoganist has to marry a RICH boy from crore family and he must be equally goodlooking too😆

Here expected them to show something different from others but its too much to ask for from a fiction show, no matter how much they talk of social subject attached to it.😵

The pig CV's have no emotions.
I can't believe they killed Komal off. I felt so bad for Krish right now. First his dad then his mom..
They don't care. I feel like boycotting this show now..

Great post! 👏

I like your idea of the two parallel leads because that way it would have shown that women respond to such experiences differently. It would have also satisfied both the camps you mentioned above & brought diverse viewership to the show. 👍🏼

If they had to stick with one DV story, for me a middle ground would have been ideal. Yes I would have personally liked to see Jhanvi on her own feet first, before she finds love. However the CVs tried to combine stronger Jhanvi with trusting-a-man Jhanvi. I would have done stronger Jhanvi followed by trusting-a-man Jhanvi. As this is a work of fiction, I don't think there's anything wrong with a good dose of escapism even when dealing with such controversial subject matter. The knight in shining armor thing would have been fine, provided they showed Sia's character development ...but this has been compromised time & again which leaves people feeling nothing for the character. Its a shame because, had they given Sriti the opportunity she would have done justice to the character. I have no qualms in seeing a weak/scared Jhanvi, turn into an in-love & trusting a man Sia, to an independent, traditional wife - however I would have expected there to be focus on how she got to those stages.

Some have an issue with Sia suddenly being so comfortable with Raghav. Yes I think they could have executed this better, (like maybe not jumping a year where their relationship would be developing); but I also feel that since Raghav's character is also unreal, its not a problem for me if she trusts him/loves him all of a sudden. I mean who in reality is that mahaan & would give-up/risk all that Raghav has for a woman?? So its perfectly plausible that the damsel in distress falls for the knight. The knight is unrealistic therefore the damsel's feelings for the knight can also be unrealistic.

People watch this show for different reasons: some for their favorite male leads, others for some kind of social message. I watched the show because I was interested in Jhanvi's kahaani - which we all know was the last thing this show really ever focused on. Anyway whats done is done...
