i know sara has already made a topic on this.. 😳 but since it is an important character development for komal, pls bear with me.. 😳

yesterday we saw komal's emotional outburst.. she was allowed to portray all her pent up emotions.. her trauma, fear, pain over her past etc. she was absolutely right when she said that sia was to blame in bringing v to gurgaon.. if sia hadnt entered their lives, v too wud have stayed out.. and the family wudnt have suffered the trauma.. they did at the hands of v.. and yes, she is absolutely correct when she says that she will protect her family.. she knows she is being selfish.. she is absolutely correct from her pov.. it was natural for her to blame sia and i too understand her plight..
but this was where she was also wrong in some respects..

a lot of people have suffered at the hands of v.. v has twisted and played with people's lives for his own sadistic needs..

v's own sister payal was tortured to such an extent by him that she was put in an mental asylum.. is her suffering less than komals'.. NO!!

mr malhotra's daughter is also in an mental asylum.. is his and his daughters' suffering less than komals'.. NO!!

v's mother suffered a lot protecting him.. and sacrificed her life trying to give jhanvi a safe life.. was her suffering less than komals' .. NO!!

dr komolika was also tied with a rope hanging around her neck for abetting jhanvi's death and escape.. is the trauma she suffered less than komals'.. NO!!

others who have tried to help jhanvi.. be it the dobriyals' watchman, jhanvi's dadi, the doctor who faked jhanvi's death certificate and others who i have missed have all been 'punished' by v.. is their trauma and suffering less than komals' ... NO!!

and i am a firm believer in destiny.. u cannot escape ur fate no matter what measures u take, what sacrifices u r prepared to make.. so if jhanvi's fate had a husband like viraj.. he came into her life.. if jhanvi was destined to come into the singhs' life.. she came and brought v with it..

another thing.. u shd be prepared to take all the good and bad things that life throws at u.. u cant agree to take all the good things and refuse the bad ones...eg- if u want to hold and enjoy the beauty of a rose, u will have to bear its sharp thorns

aesome post @flutterby 👏(am sorry dunno your name😳)
you pretty much said what i had on my mind..👏
i think komal is in trauma after what she went through..so she lost hold on what is right and what is wrong..all she can see is his barely-out-of-trauma son in gunpoint...
its not like am supporting K's outbirst that actually is a heartless way to blame everything on sia..but..yeah she is not in her right mind..

i know you have a point there hon...but everyone were in different condition..V's mom never made it alive..priya i am sure would have blamed herself for not listening to her dad's caution..payal i dunno so i wont comment...only k was in the state of situation to blame S..and i somehow think that even though she knows R loves her..she could never accept s as her family member..

I think it had more to do with her trauma from Dev, than anything else. Think about it. Dev used to beat her. Then he dies and she survives. Survivor's guilt. Then Viraj enters and soon she finds out that Viraj is worse than Dev. And Viraj tortures her. Her memories of Dev's torture probably came back and she blamed Jhanvi for it. Once she gets back into her senses, she'll realize that she's wrong.

I so wish if they connect it to Dev and his torture of her would make a lot of sense

I found Komal's reaction most relatable and natural. She might be wrong to blame Sia, but no one individual is the same. Komal's traumatic reaction is due to many things. It's due to the fact that she has been through domestic violence herself and V beating her triggered a lot of painful memories. It's due to the fact that she has spent four years watching her son struggle, and she hasn't been able to help him because of her own psychological issues -- her detachment, for instance. It's due to the fact that she had dedicated her life to holding together her small family, knitting it back together, and now some stranger is breaking it apart because of one girl whom they allowed into their lives. It's due to the fact that she went through her son's kidnapping and his emotional abuse at V's hands. It's due to the fact that she was used as shield throughout the hostage situation -- her head at gunpoint, her face almost being smashed by a chair. It's due to the fact that she had to watch Gayatri and Taashu be tortured and Raghav get shot.
Komal has always kept her emotions in, always been the survivor, the one to protect the family, keep it together -- it was about time that she cracked and let go. She's done great, but she's human and she despaired because she couldn't endure anymore.
We all don't have the same pain threshold, but I'm incredibly proud of how long Komal stuck it out before surrendering to the emotional turmoil inside of her. She's holding Sia responsible for some things that she should held responsible for -- i.e. not telling people in the house about V in time. That is not to blame Sia for what's happening now, but we can't overlook that Sia did make mistakes in the past and that she was wrong in her own place too. As is human nature. She had her own reasons for making the wrong decisions, all which are understandable considering her condition at the time. She isn't to blame for V's deeds. But that wasn't what Komal blamed her for either. I think that once she calms down and this is all over, she'll let go of the anger.
