My first reaction with Raghav striking a deal with Viraj was the same as many of us out here .. going

But then even after the deal came to light i was still

I too am smitten by Raghav as a character ... have loved him all the way and so could digest the character blooper (in my opinion)...

The creatives were right there ready with the needle of chronologically mixed up shots to burst the bubble!!!😕...

I went 😕 when they revealed the supposed deal between the two... Being Raghav , a part of him though wants to wring V's neck when V threatens his family ...but then there is a part in him which insists on giving a second chance to Viraj ... to redeem. Its fine till here... But what confuses me is if the chronology of the shots is kept in mind, Raghav's act of sticking on to his words makes no sense to me.

The chronology of the scenes:

1) Raghav met Viraj in jail...
2) They had arguement...
3) The deal... (Yes i know its a flash back shot but then the clothes of Raghav and Viraj, the yamraj list in the BG clearly put this scene here chronologically)
4) The fake suicide!!!...
5) The court scene where Raghav himself raised a point in the court that Viraj was faking the suicide...

Now after all this how can Raghav stick on to his promise... Raghav give him a chance to get on the right path and made the promise... it was fine till here.. it went with Raghav's character.

But then holding on to his promise even after it was clear that Viraj would never change(a clear indication through his acts of escaping the prison)... Is so out of character for Raghav...

Raghav for one would never hold on to his promise because Viraj by breaking his promise( and we know how whole heartedly he gave it) had made it clear that Viraj was a danger to his loved ones and would strike back.. that Viraj could not redeem... I found this as a major character blooper.(again only my perception)

I would have preferred Raghav not letting Siya go rather safeguarding his family along with Siya... He need not choose between family and love... not at the pretext of holding on to the promise which has gone all void... what with Viraj breaking it at his first breath... What with the certainity of Viraj striking back.

For once i feel i'm not reading much into it ... but unless CVs come with another twist to make me go "Yeh kya ho raha hai bhai???

Sorry that i'm repetitive in the my thought regarding Raghav - Viraj deal ... Coz it surely has left my thoughts all scrambled!!! ... Just like the jalebis...😕...

This post was a part of the my 2 cents from the episode analysis thread... guilty of not being in a mood of regenerating the same views in a different manner. 😆 ...opted the easy way out ... Copy and Paste... with minimal tweaks here and there 😆

See he said "aap ney samjhaney mey deir kar di mey ney samajhney mey" ... i don't think Raghav ever trusted viraj he only took a chance ... see Viraj's only concern with Raghav and his family is as long as sia is with them ... if she is not and they don't come in his way, he would never harm them ... viraj only harms those that come in the way of what he wants ... Raghav did not trust viraj, he only understood the psychology and made a promise ... and Raghav is someone who won't break his promise ... and when he had made the promise he knew sia does not love him anyways and will leave once divorce is done, so he did not think twice about making the promise ... also by asking him to get treatment he was trying to ensure sia's future to be safe as well ... because even if not now someday viraj was going to come out and could break hell ... but i don't think he trusted him on any of it ... he did not expect viraj to harm his family because of V psychology not because he trusted him

Also one of the reasons he made promise with viraj was because he does not trust law ... he still did not ... hence he was afraid if viraj comes out he can't be every where to protect them

As for him not keeping an eye on viraj ... Raghav is not a cop ... he can't be at prison all the time or hospital keeping an eye on him ... all he could do was try and find him or be careful once he finds out V is out ... but he came to know too late

The kind of character he is shown to be, until other party violates he will keep his word, even if he did not trust them, he even kept the word he gave to Shikhawat didn't he?

Also notice Sia did not confess for same reason, she too knows if they are together his and his family's life is in danger ... Raghav also thought letting Sia go is best for her and his family, specially when she herself wanted to and did not love him

Nadz Raghav never trusted Viraj rather gave him a chance to redeem and struck the deal... I'm absolutely fine with this aspect... He is a man who would go ahead and give a second chance to even his enemy if the enemy made an attempt at promising to change for better... take the treatment. That adds a layer to Raghav... makes him more endearing I say.

But what i do not get is why on earth would he still hold good a promise after Viraj showed that he cared a damn about the promise... rather escaped prison... tried to fake suicide... did not turn up at the court only to deny Siya the chance to be set free(lucky that she got it anyways)... These things made it clear that Viraj has reached a point of no return... Raghav himself was aghast at knowing about Viraj's escape ...rather angered if i remember. So why would he stick on to a void promise???

Viraj's escape and the court room drama has clearly shown that Viraj will never change and Raghav knows it... So why would he risk sending Siya away... when he knows Viraj would not keep up his words of taking up treatment rather lash back at Siya and later at Singh family too.

Holding on to a promise just because of your principle of not breaking them midway... when your loved ones are at stake... That's not how raghav would go about... He would have straight away broken the promise right away when he sensed Viraj's unchanged ways... that would have been more Raghav like to me.

Sorry Nadz... main bhool bhulaiya main ghoom ghoom ke wahi lines different tarike main dohora rahi hoon 😕

Na raghav did not know he escaped prison till yesterday and v never promised he would remain in prison did he? The promise was he would not harm his family once out ... and Raghav has no faith in police hence he knew sooner or later V will be out

But today they made R say i trusted you ... which is dumb he never trusted him when he knew nothing about him now after knowing everything they expect me to believe he trusted him? I will stick to my psychology theory for my own sanity

Nadz yaar sorry ... mere muh se escape nikla ... i meant trying to escape the court trial with the fake suicide... raghav atleast knew that it was fake suicide... a reason good enough to put 1+1 together and do the math that Viraj will never change and will always be a threat whether Raghav sticks to his promise or not... That itself should have made him dump the promise yaar.

Gosh the CVs leave me disoriented sometimes... wait!!!!... most of the times...

Just because i love jalebis ... i cannot digest sub plots which go round and round like jalebis 😕😆

Making the deal is fine Nadz... but holding on to it when the opposite party has tossed it over the bridge is not intelligible... not when it concerns the safety of your family and your love... And Raghav for one is a hell of an intelligent man who has shown presence of mind time and again... He is more alert when his family or love is concerned... Yes he is flawed at times but this was a flaw which so did not seem Raghav like.. out of his character... if i may say so.

Kuch aur kare na kare CVs aise confusing sub plots de kar apna discussion thread lamba jaroor banate hain... 😆...

Also:

As for his promise to Shekhawat.. Shekhawat never came close to anything near Viraj... Yes he was a threat but was overpowered easily ...Raghav could read through Shekhawat that he would'nt go back on words.. that Shekhawat ko apni jaan zyaada pyaari thi ... And so he stuck till shekhawat stuck to the promise... If shekhawat would have gone back on his words we would have seen Shekhawats end rather than escape...

But this is Viraj we are talking about so... Raghav would be extra cautious right???
