Okay! So my first reaction when I found out that Raghav had truck a deal with Viraj was WTH?
Like really? After all that you know about Viraj and his twisted brain, you are really going to strike a deal with him? And that too to stay away from Jhanvi? Why do you think he wants you to stay away from Jhanvi? And you thought he'd stick to his part of the deal? WTH Raghav?!!!
Then I calmed myself down and thought about it (I am too smitten by the man to not to try and rationalize his actions no matter how irrational they may seem..)
Viraj had made a valid point.. That he couldn't be there for everyone in his family all the time.. On the other hand, he also knew of the kind of influence Viraj had and he could possibly accomplish all that he'd threatened to even while he was in jail...
Now Raghav had two options - either completely overlook everything that Viraj said and make tall claims about being able to protect his family or he would have to take the risk of trusting Viraj and staying away from Jhanvi.. Both ways Raghav was bound to lose (since the CVs want to let Viraj get the upper hand).
From his dialogue today, where he says "Main jaantha hoon ki aap bhi mujhse pyaar karthi hain. Lekin shayad maine samajhne mein der kar di ya phir apne samjhane mein.." it means that he did not know that point probably that Sia loved him.. There was no point in him being around her anyways if she didn't love him. The second option seemed feasible - even though he knew that Viraj was not a man who could be trusted. He probably regrets his decision - in fact I am sure he does.. But given the circumstances, that was pretty much all he could do..
It was a better decision than if he had jumped in and made claims about being able to protect his family everywhere all the time and failing. Remember, he holds himself responsible for failing to save his brother while saving Krish.. With that guilt weighing on his conscience, he couldn't take that risk again..
He probably did not want to live the guilt of knowing that he had the chance to trust Viraj and maybe his family would have been safe.. And the sacrifice he had to make for that was personal.. Something he would do happily for his family..
As for Jhanvi, Raghav probably had a little more faith in the police being able to keep Viraj behind bars longer.. Which unfortunately, did not happen and is slightly out of character for Raghav coz he is shown to have zero tolerance and faith in police from the beginning... Probably something the CVs overlooked in their rush to the big leap..
I had to post this to convince myself and I'd definitely like to know what everyone else thinks too 😊
