But the thing is, Prime, that remorse isn't something that occurs out of the blue. They have always emphasized how V is incapable of feeling remorse because he has no conscience. Then, what, they'll suddenly give him a conscience and make him feel remorse?Doesn't make sense. Plus it would be entirely out of character for V.Like I mentioned in another post, if V was meant to be a redeemable character, then they'd have shown redeemable qualities/traits in him from the start. For instance, whenever he'd beat Jahnvi or his mother or manipulated someone, or even hurt the watchman -- they would have shown his inner struggle afterward, the remorse. But they didn't.Now all of a sudden, they might get this fantastic idea that he needs yet another redemption track and should feel remorse and they'll force-feed it to us, because most of us aren't willing to believe it. And even if they did it as logically as possible -- are they going to convince us that he's worth liking/sympathizing with? Not to mention the damage it'll do amongst the audiences. People already condemn and victim blame Jahnvi for not helping him change -- and if they showed him redeeming himself, it would present the message that victim blamers were right and Jahnvi was wrong. Is that what they want to do?
