I happen to think that Sriti's performances in her last 2 serials were just brilliant, and she certainly deserved and should have gotten awards for those. However, if she didn't get them there and wasn't thought deserving enough there, then much as I'm a fan of hers, she's actually less deserving of it here.
Somehow, in this serial, while she's played the role of a battered wife reasonably well, her role as Sia has been quite confused. To an extent, it is the fault of the CVs, who have given her a really confused role to play here - not being open about Viraj here, but at the same time, meddling in Raghav's family matters. Honestly, the role that Sriti is playing as Sia could have been played by anyone - it hardly brings out the best in her the way Sudha/Devika and Sandhya/Vrinda did.
Of course, there is still time for her, and if in the story, she turns it around, confronts Viraj, fights him and prevails, she could yet turn this around for herself personally. But so far, this has been one of the less impressive of her serials, IMHO.
