If he's rich, it'd be easier for him to fight Viraj as Viraj's main resource is his money -- through which he buys contacts, bribes people, etc.

It would also explain how he gets out of jail...

... but I seriously doubt that he's rich 😕

There's another thing we know for sure about him: it's that at some point many years ago he was as helpless as Jhanvi was and was helped by another person in almost the same manner...he mentions this in the episode where the pujari blesses him for coming to her aid and indirectly finding her a place to live. I think this might wind up being one of the most interesting aspects of both his character and their relationship. He's been in the same place...he's known the same fear and helplessness and if anything his preoccupation with her has more to do with him being a kindred spirit.

That's the right word. Beautiful phrased 👏 Kindred spirit.

Raghav has been broken, and in some ways he still is -- or so it seems -- and maybe that's the connection between him and Jhanvi. He recognizes that pain, sees himself in her, and that's why he has this strong desire to save her, help her live again.
