No, he's not an extra. I never said he was. All I did was clarify something here since what I had said was brought up.

@bold, isn't that what I said. I said that back in Feb, and said that even more clearly a week ago. Good that we're now on the same page. An actor chooses his roles because of what the role can do for him as an actor (and perhaps his career as well). So we agree. That's good.

Even if someone thinks that we don't care ... i read your post in AT that day and i was going to reply to it that day itself but then i thought its not worth it ... and if we think or say HC is the lead what is wrong in that? We never said KB is not the lead ... we are clear one is anti hero other is hero ... so if someone called HC as lead what is wrong in that? Its possible it might turn out different later but just because we say he is lead it makes this such a big issue? I never see anyone has any problem or object when people pick on HC deliberately try and belittle him by calling all his roles easy and same and pass comments like he needs to grow as an actor ... where as none of us have ever said a word about Karanvir or his acting!!! It was not us who brought comparisons of how good actors are those who play negative role and heroes are always easy!!! But no one ever thought twice before making those comparisons and belittling HC but the moment we say he is lead problem suddenly starts!!! We are neither stupid nor dumb not to see what is going on around us, if we choose to ignore its not because we don't understand we don't want fights!!! So we had decided and always made a effort not to respond back as much as possible but we are humans too and we get fed up too!!! If he is the main lead as decided by CVs he will be one, if not he won't be ... us saying it makes no difference so why is it such a big deal?

For us he is the hero/lead, for you he may be an extra, we don't really care!!! And us calling HC lead does not mean we are in any way saying KB is not a lead!!!

And after this i am not posting on this topic here because it is really a thoughtful thread and i don't want to ruin it with this useless debate!!!

Nadz, you brought this matter up on this thread. I just clarified myself. And please, this main lead thing had been going on since February all over. Don't worry he is the lead. He is main lead. He is the best in telly, the best there is. If you're going to deny that, then... okay...many know that's not the truth.

That's when the issue started. When you say someone is the lead, when there's already an actor billed as the lead and who's staying on as lead.

And if you're going to pretend like that post I replied to in the AT and all the other posts weren't done in a manner of disrespecting the actor who is billed as lead, then go right ahead. You guys can believe that. But plenty know that's not the truth either. It may not have been meant as disrespect, but that's what it was.

As for criticisms, constructive criticisms and bashing are two different things. If you want my opinion, KB is more of a dramatic actor while HC is more of an emotional actor. Basically that is what some people had been saying. And they thought the other roles were lover boys, I said Mohan wasn't. KB himself has always done a lot of bad-boy roles.

And with this role HC is playing a different type of character. Once he came on, who's dissed his acting? No one. All people said was that his entry was filmy. It was. Saying that and laughing at the filmi-ness isn't bashing HC or HCians.

There have been some bashing, yes. But not all of what you are terming bashing were bashing. And really some of those criticisms came from the fact that people were here going around yelling main lead and the lead.

I don't understand one thing why are some ppl keep on talking about *Rubbish* on such a wonderful thread...Topic Maker has stated so many good points...all we have to do is add our inputs..if you guys can not do that peacefully than..u know...
