Not questioning your academic capability at all, but your assignment seems to have missed out on this news. Not at all calling you naive, but your research seems to be inadequate...

Well... I wouldn't comment anything much...
But being a student of Psychology, all I would say that person with OCD doesn't act this way...
Yes, he is mentally ill and therapies like CBT are helpful...
But this show has potrayed person with OCD,
Cunning+ Manipulative+ Abuser to all whom he loves...
Now the point is... he abuses everyone whom he loves... mostly person with OCD, has only few people around him...
and
I am not just talking about this show.. I am talking about in general, any show which talked about mental illness, doesn't have proper research...
Lemme talk about another show,
Named Apki Antara, Where little girl had autism, fanatastic acting by lil one, but, then fact remains, person with autism, has some special skills, and not special skill in every field... like they showed in the show... girl is best in drawing, singing, dancing, mathematics, memory, etc...
Bidai, Alekh, they never showed exact name of the disorder, but it was close to cognitive amnesia, caused due to developmental problem, where brain remains like a child... but they showed it was due to come head inujury... but as I said, i wouldn't comment much, cuz makers never emphasized on it... Lemme inform all, that if anyone has brain injury, no one can become like they show characters of serial like Alekh of Bidaai, Sagar of BMTD, and Varun Badola in Koshis... I wouldn't blame anyone, for their fabulous acting skills, and amazzing potrayal of character but... fact remains... its not real... its producers imagination of lala land!! Max to Max person can be schizophrenic, and thats extremly high term!!!!

Now coming back to this show...
It is no different...
The article maybe true, things like this does happen in real...
But people with OCD, they don't perform those acts...!!!
They are ill... and not heartless... Its true more then sufferer of illness, its people with him suffer, but this is exaggeration of everything...

He moved the bodies out before burning the house simple!!! Many houses have two exit doors ... nothing unreal about it
