First of all - I must say that I did not get the time to read all the topics and don't know if similar topics have been posted or not - Mods can merge this topic if necessary.
I would like to know if you all think that the plot of this serial is going haywire or rather becoming the run-of-the-mill story? 🥱
This serial is supposed to be a story of a woman's fight against a abusive husband. Till now - it has been okay as we are being shown the tortures done to Jahnvi by Viraj - however, it seems that Viraj is turning to be rather obsessive, cunning lover instead of being the abusive, over-possessive husband.
From the beginning, personally I did not like this track of Jahnvi's father being trapped in a false scam. We all knew that Viraj is behind everything. This is something I found OTT and run-of-the-mill thing. We have seen this kind of plot in numerous serials. So what's new Life OK can give?
Abusive husbands don't plot against their in-laws to keep their wives in control. Moreover, if Viraj wanted Jahnvi to keep her mouth shut, he could do something else to blackmail her emotionally. After he tortured himself with the belt, he could have threatened Jahnvi to commit suicide if she ever leaves him - may be he could have injured his hand or something to show that he can do anything to himself if she leaves him.
I have a fear that they might turn this into the usual revenge drama 😕 - after jahnvi will know everything, she might not take legal help as Viraj is so powerful - she might not even try to cure him - but she will try to take revenge personally and we will see many OTT and run-of-the-mill incidents.
Just wanted to share my views. Please share your views. Usually CVs of many serials visit our forum so I am just hoping that DSDDSB team also come to this forum and read our views. 😛
