writers were doing an awesum job till now but the rape was a bit too much

it was out of character for viraj

i was really dissapointed by yterdays epi

what made the writers write the rape track

its still beyond my understanding

hitting her with belt wud hv been ok as the punishment

but what the hell was that

even if they wanted to shw rape

the situation wud hv been an extreme case shwing how how it bcame too much for viraj...

it was a script blunder which sort of ruined everything that was betweern viraj janvi

i m feeling so disgusted after way\tching the rape epi

i wud hv endured it if th rape wud hv beeen in sum other condition

but yteray it seemed forced and unnecessary

i dont feel like watcihing the future episodes as well

Do you think abusing your wife every day is any better then rape? Psychically abusing her... I guess wrighter trying to show viraj state of mind. Yes it's to much but he is always to much and the wrighter trying to portray that.

After rape, I think the main anti-hero of viraj came out. And it gave his character another step to it's evilness however I also think this could have came later on, but as its done, and with high trp I hope the writer don't loose there mind. I am still intrest to see more as its just the beginning.

And with every part it's becoming better.

And on the other hand, bcs it's close to the reality, rape at this point is fine, as a psyco like him would have done that way before.

I agree that with a psycho like Viraj, you don't know how he will react... And I feel the writers justified it... Viraj was already raged at Sanjay when he heard that he and Jhanvi sang duets at the college... He has kept his wife hidden from the eyes of the world, and gets raged at mere mention of a domestic servant... And when he saw them holding hands, he felt cheated... He felt dejected... In dialogues he does say that why do you need other man... Am i not enough... It was his male ego, he felt challenged... And then he did what men can do best (worst), only way they know to prove their manhood...

With Viraj I though that rape (un-consensual sex) would have already happened... Maybe Suhagraat, when he was romantic, and she fainted due to cockroach... He would always have his way with her...

What i am waiting for is that, at every punishment he makes Jhanvi feel guilty, that she did a mistake and deserved it... I am wondering what is he going to tell her in today's episode...

What I feel is that writers are trying to portray something very deep... that in many marriages rape or un-consensual sex happens... And still many of those marriages continue... Their aspect of showing rape, was to generate a dislike towards the character of Viraj, whom we were liking for his looks or because KB is doing (to look beyond him, all that glitters is not gold)... Second to make us feel the pain of Jhanavi and such women... And most importantly that why in spite of taking such horrendius suffering, those marriages continue... That will be the future episodes I guess... And how Viraj (people like him) will forget what they did, while the scar remains on woman's heart and soul for a lifetime... But still she continues the marriage for various reasons...

Jhanavi's character is of that women, who will search for that small streak of hope in her dark life, and continue to live for it... Till she finds out that ray of light and hope is just a mirage... Its in her mind, not in her life... Then she will try and break away...

I just wonder that after two weeks, how many of us will be talking about this rape episode (unless reminded of it)... We all will move on with the story, like Jhanavi would have...

Contrary, I think this also happens, may be in exceptional cases. The show is very similar to the life of one of my close friend who was married to a psycho. Even if a male from his / her family member shared a warm smile, then hell would break down on her life. The guy would physically torture and rape her.

Its absolutely well said that "And how Viraj (people like him) will forget what they did, while the scar remains on woman's heart and soul for a lifetime".

Being a girl i obviously hate any rapists..But honestly its good that this show brings realistic issues..Many women like Jahnvi are raped by their husbands and are victim of domestic violence...All the show cant have romantic moments.Lets wait and watch how the story unfolds 😊.

That's so sad.I hope your friend has left that psycho.This is such an awful thing to happen to any woman
