But I was wondering the same thing.

They could go the ways of the movies, Daraar and Sleeping with the Enemy, but they could also do the entire show us Viraj torturing Jahnvi for like 2ish months, then something happens, and Jahnvi's starts fighting back, and then next step may be Jahnvi realizing he has some deeprotted psychological problems or something, revelation about Viraj's childhood and why he thinks all women are liars, and then Jahnvi caring for him, and bringing about a positive change in him.

Or I could be completely wrong 🤣

Probably put him in therapy and help him overcome whatever trust issues he may have

Going down the usual Safe Haven route we have seen multiple times

Im not condoning what Viraj does but for once I want to see a character slowly change the way he is, and he gets a second chance at life

The show is a freakin MESS now.. I was willing to accept this warped fairytale of a show for entertainment where the husband is obsessive, possessive, abusive and just completely off his rocker while his wife is completely delusional but still willing to "heal his mental issues with the power of love"

He was always sick in the head but SO SICK that he RAPES her and she STILL stays with him.. now this is too much for even "love" to heal.. I am just so sickened by the show now

Like if the Director/CVs/watever wanted to show viraj as a complete animal, WHY did they choose a HOTT actor (LOL).. like seriously why would they choose someone that girls would be attracted to and then have him commit an even worse crime than murder IMO.. if they didn't want their relationship to work and have jaanvi leave him eventually then why not choose a gross old man to play viraj.. and if they want jaanvi to STAY with him forever even after all this.. Is he even worth the effort now to even "heal"

I would love to see Jahnvi to protest for what he has done to her and to her kid. But stay with Viraj after she knows abusive past and his sickness - not because he is her husband but because she wants to help a sick man.

Viraj can get his punishment in some way once he gets some senses in his head 😉 - what's the point of punishing him if he doesn't even realize that he is at fault?

People like Viraj do exist in our society - actually there are lots of people who can't control their anger and needs treatment.

If the serial shows that treatment part it would be a good social message - many people would know what to do with people like Viraj and how we can be careful and help our near ones if we start see such symptoms in early stage.

As far as marital rape is concerned, then most women face it at some point of their life - may be the husbands don't beat them everyday like Viraj, but if we do a research, at least 70% of the women would say when their the husbands have not listened to anything and forced them to have physical relationship.
