I would like to thank you all for your support for Dil Sambal Jaa Zaraa.

Just to confirm all the rumours, Star Plus has decided to stop airing the show from 2nd Feb 2018. From tonight until 2nd feb 2018 , it will be aired at 11pm IST .(new time slot)
It has been a great shock to the entire team as we haven't even started the main story yet. It's been an absolute pleasure working with everyone on the show.

We wish you all goodbye with a smile.. Till the next time...

Why isnt the actors and makers protesting against it?

The bhatts are famous for making bold and blunt statements and till now vikram bhatt is quite.

I hope he opens his mouth and show the channel a mirror.

I know Priya making mockery of foreign show on name of trp and sp hiring sentiments if people..

Vb could have easily launched this in hot star like tanhaiyan...

There are so many things I have yet to understand

Like why are they hell bent on shutting shop & not even considering a new timeslot.And if channel has got its reasons ( and that is a big if ) for the timeslot,why aren't they showing it on hotstar or selling the rights to any other streaming service

And I agree Priya about bhatt brothers & bold statements .so it comes as a surprise that Vikram hasn't talked about it

Now that I remember there was an article a few months after naamkaran aired about how Mahesh bhatt was not happy about how star was running the show

Still Vikram decides to have his show on the same channel,i couldn't understand why he wouldn't consider any other channel

And this no response from everyone is promoting a culture of " sab chalta hai " .When in fact aise cheezein nahin chalni chahiye.You need to fight for it to get what you want,to make a change.Guess everyone is just too complacent

is vikram bhatt related to mahesh bhatt or they only share the same surname.

Even ifbthey not related i guess vikram bhatt is also someone who speaks his heart out.

What i dont underatand is what was star plus thinking when they agreed to do this project? Did they day dream that the show will give yrkkh and kumkum bhagya a run for its money?😡

The entire story is available on net and they know the exact story line. If they had problem with the bold concept why take it up in thebfirst place

Aren't they ? I always assumed they were brothers cause of the surname & also maybe because they have worked together in the past 😕

Anyway when you declare a show to be an official remake of an original work,the least you can do is at least let it get to the end

Authors like Jk Rowling & Dan brown are closely associated with all their books being adapted on the big screen.Even though the movie makers bring any changes ,it is with the consent of the author cause intellectual property rights rule supreme

So making dsjz an official adaptation & then ending it when you are not even halfway there is such an insult to the author's work .The injustice & unfairness of it all is just too much

other channels are not a good option. Comparing to other channels star plus shows bolder content. Colors and zee are way more orthodox than star. Except for airing finite series sony don go for this much bold shows and budget wise also sony is not suitable for dsjz. Sony only invest huge money in mythological shows. Almost all their other shows are low budget. Haasil eventhough claims to be of big budget it dont look like one. The show looks more of a show off. Dsjz is shot in a very classy way esp the initial episodes. It didnt had any cliches or stereotype.

They could have shifted it to life ok but thar channel got shut down and i have no idea how the new channel is and what kind of shows they air.

The only channels which air shows without looking at the trp are mtv and bindas but dsjz dont go with the youthful vibe of these channels.

This is sad,I honestly thought that sp will allow it to run till end,I guess budget is too high for the show that may be the reason why channel is pulling it off.Hope it returns with second season but it seems unlikely.

Rrading all the posts,bit might not actually have much to do with trp. You say Vikram Bhatt is quiet, why is he quiet? Maybe differences with the channel caused the cancellation.
Just speculating really.
