I hv been so long wanting to write in this forum but cudnt garner the time...
I am here because I am absolutely in love with this show...
coming to the reasons it is not the actors alone and definitely not Sanjay Kapoor whom I never even noticed in films and to say that he is doing an amazingly fab job in this show...
However the main reason I am here is because of the story which is brilliant and a masterpiece...
Wat I love about this show is that I hv never seen such taut screenplay in any Hindi daily soap...no redundant scenes, no dragging, no melodrama...I get the feeling of watching a movie in the big canvas...such crisp editing I never found in a daily soap...
The second thing I love about this show is the way the characters r written...I love the chem not only between the protagonists but also between every character...
I wud actually like to gv all my praises to the Turkish show ask-i-memnu which is a gem of a show...I hv watched all the episodes that r available on YouTube some in Urdu some with English subtitles and some in Turkish which I had to guess the dialogues...
First let me say why I started watching this show...I first watched the last scenes of the Turkish show and I instantly fell in love...let me say here I love tragic endings and I loved the entire follow up to the ending...I won't tell more since I don't want to spoil the fun for those who hvnt watched...
I am truly crazy about behrul (rehaan) and bihter (ahana) and their amazing chem...
But for me the most beautiful thing about this show is the way Adnan (Anand) and behrul hv been characterized...
The deep love, respect and trust that they share is actually the crux of this story...
The tragedy and irony is that the person who loves his foster father so much that he can go to any length to protect him is the same person who will betray him in the worst possible way...the guilt is the final outcome of this show...
The original Turkish actors playing Adnan and behrul were simply mindblowing with their acting...here Sanjay Kapoor and Aashim Gulati r equally gud...
I hope and pray that our makers will not succumb to trp pressure and will continue to remain true to ask-i-memnu...so far they hv almost carbon copied which I hope they will continue to do so...with no offense to Indian writers who by the way r less guided by their skills and more dictated by channels who anyways never care about viewers' emotions...so I hope our writers will put their own pens to rest and just follow the Turkish show...that show doesn't require any changes...
Coming to our show so far everything is perfect.. the casting, screenplay, dialogues, costumes, BG score, editing, acting everything I am loving...
and the song jeene bhi de...no words can do justice...the singer is brilliant the tune is beautiful and the lyrics hv just stolen my heart...
Finally my request to the makers is pls don't use ur scissors...the Turkish show has loads of bold scenes...pls do not edit them since those scenes r not there as eyecandy...those scenes r the building blocks of this show...without those scenes the final episodes will hv no impact on us...Anand's pain, rehaan's guilt will not reach the viewers without the bold scenes...
This is a 10.30 show... moreover both actors and viewers r grown up enuf to understand the essence of these scenes...moreover yt is open to all and many of us hv already seen those scenes in ask-i-memnu...so I hope censor board will keep its big nose out of our show...personally I will trust our makers as long as Vikram bhatt is there as sanchalak...I implicitly trust this man with such scenes...
Finally I want to say Dil sambhal ja Zara rocks and will continue to rock but only till it stays completely true to ask-i-memnu...
