This is official adaptation m producers said it. Then it's your problem if you're expecting a saint love story. It is not your krpkab mcp doormat love story. Learn the meaning of official adaptation.

The original did not vindicate extra marital affair between Reyhan and Ahana. The characters hardly had any compatible traits beyond belonging to the same age cohort so that the audience can be like "oh they are soulmates who're stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time". The show veritably explores the frailties of human condition a la Madame Bovary; how one miscalculated step can ruin your life; that not everyone can rise above the mundane and be a hero of their own story. I think it's imperative to keep an open mind to watch this show!

In yesterday's precap Ahana balantly stated that she's marrying Anant for revenge. She doesn't love him. It's well and good to think that love is unconditional. But such things rarely happen in real life where love comes with a lot of conditions. And that's fine. Humans may have the highest E.Q. But we can't defy our nature and our nature is to choose the best mate to have children with. So yeah She's gonna cheat alright.

I just started watching the show. And yes, I did my homework and acquainted myself with the original Turkish show. So, I know well what's about to go down in this show, if they do indeed stay faithful to the original show. To be honest, I want this show to remain completely faithful adaptation along with the cheating aspect. I am not 100% comfortable with the subject matter, which is why I want them to keep it controversial. I want this show to push my boundaries. Love is supposed to be messy, so is human emotions and what it makes us do. Also, I want to see whether this show can execute the extramarital affair element sensitively and manage to arouse my sympathy for the cheating characters.

For once I want this show to remain faithful to the Turkish version. But the only exception is that I want Rehaan to have a backbone and be a better character than Behlul ever was.

Yes, I agree. Behlul's love and regard for his family made him weak which is why he couldn't fight for his lady love. I understand and sympathize with Behlul and that doesn't make him a coward. It just means his family is his weakness. But I wish Rehaan proves to be more courageous than Behlul, so that even if they alter the ending, it seems realistic. Even if they don't change the ending, I am perfectly fine. In fact, the original ending is perfect. I am excited to see how this story will progress in the Indian version, while doing justice to the Turkish classic.

@ PlainJane

I agree that they should stay true to the original.
As for the extramarital affair yes they'll need to handle it very carefully as it is always a controversial and sensitive topic with Indian audience. If they import portray it sensitively then I'm sure it will be a treat to watch.
Just hope they don't have to make compromises because of TRPs.
