I really felt that Rithwik s family is a bunch of snobs yesterday. For all their talks on love, do not forget the roots, bond with people instead of looking at their money etc...at the bottom of their hearts, they are all basically snobs..they judge people before even giving them a chance to explain..form opinions based on other people's financial and social status...undermine and insult people forgetting how much they did for them in the first place...they just behave well and show their Mahan-ness when it suits them and to only those people who are their underdogs...otherwise, they treat ppl like shit... come on guys... whatever may be the situation, to begin with Palak is an excellent doctor who saved their entire Noon Pharma from a big mess...at least show some respect for that...if they had any reasoning , they wud have understood that a person who stood upright and fought for the right thing cannot be this bad... I thought at least Mamta jee is grounded..but she disappointed me the most...she understood that Rithwik has something special for Palak since he told her about his background.. she knows how important this topic is for him.. if he told this to an outsider, she is very special for him... but she chose not to pursue that topic further... and she had interacted with Palak more than anyone else in the family ( except for Rithwik and Aman) .. She must have understood Palak's nature by now..she should have tried to put in a word for her...at least tried to stop Reeva's bitchy talk...and even later when Rithwik said he will talk to Palak about Setu.. she kind of warned not to get too close to Palak since his dad doesn't like her.. from the way her character was portrayed in other episodes, I would have expected her to behave more maturely, be less judgemental and ask her son to find out the truth and stand by it..and I believe she has enough influence on VP to make him see other side of things... but no, she has decided not to spread her wisdom in this case...
