Guys, I am not that great a writer, but because no one was offering anything new on a Saturday, I offered my own; hope you like it:
I am writing this scene assuming that when the land deal confrontation occurs on Monday, the Puris will manipulate the situation to blame Palak and her mom, and Rithwik will hopefully stand up for Palak. This will obviously create further chaos and suspicions, but this will also make Palak's anger melt.
The following is a Palak Rithwik scene that happens after the above-mentioned fiasco:

Rithwik was speaking with someone over the phone, his back to Palak. She wanted to talk to him and so she waited while he finished. However, Rithwik sensed her and turned around, he cut his call midway with a "I'll call you later
"I wanted to get a chance to speak with you", said Palak, as they both walked together towards the end of the garden, in search of a spot where they could get some privacy. Rithwik silently waited for more as they reached a secluded spot.
Palak started again "In the last few days, a lot has happened and a lot has changed between us. We did not plan for things to happen and we were not prepared to experience a change in our equation with each other. We were friends ... good friends I think ... I hope." While she said this, Palak paused to think because she knew in her heart that Rithwik had stopped being just a friend for her much before they got kidnapped. But she would be the last person to admit this in front of Rithwik. She continued, "You had asked me the other day, why I was angry ... My answer is I don't know ... I don't know if its you I was angry with, or if it was me ... I don't even know if I had the right to feel angry...I guess I didn't. Which is why I wanted to say that I am sorry I yelled at you earlier and I also wanted to thank you for standing up for me in front of Mr. Puri"
Palak paused for longer than a moment and Rithwik, who had been listening intently all this while, took that as a cue to say something...he was about to start when Palak continued. "I am leaving tomorrow for Mumbai ... In a lot of ways we are both starting completely new and separate chapters in our lives. So I wanted to wish you great happiness...Ananya is an awesome girl...and as you had once said... she is also 'hot' " ...she smiled and Rithwik smiled too remembering their past conversation..."she is just perfect for you". She stopped and looked around, thinking of something more to say but realized that this was it, this was all she had for him. She said "So there ...I had those three things to say 'Sorry, Thank You and All the best' ". She fell silent and now felt a little awkward since Rithwik's eyes were constantly on her, assessing her every word, her every facial movement. She figured it was time to escape and with a shrug and a "Lots to do now, gotta go...see you around", she started walking away
Rithwik kept looking at her straight back as she kept increasing the distance between them and suddenly felt a surge of raw emotion...this was not how it was supposed to be. He strode towards her and in a few long steps, he covered the distance between them. He pulled her by the arm and pinned her by the wall nearby, gripping both her upper arms so that she could not escape. She was startled and made an initial struggle to free herself, but then Rithwik started speaking, his voice shaking with emotion, "Doesn't it get tiring for you? To wear this constant mask of a Supreme Court judge 24X7 since the kidnapping? Its always you, you get to be upset, you get to be angry, you get to judge me, you get to peg me as some kind of a monster ... and now you also get to do the 'twas a pleasure meeting you' thing and walk away. Do you really think that its that easy for me?" He stared hard at her and shouted "You are the last person I would have wanted to fall for a guy like me"
Palak's breath stopped at that. He knew. She stared at him and defiantly wanted to deny this but the words just would not come out. Her eyes welled up without her consent. Rithwik looked at her with a mix of adoration and sadness and gently held her face in his palms. His voice softened "I have always wanted to protect you from guys like me. I always knew that you deserved much better." Palak's tears started rolling down as Rithwik spoke. He continued "And me ... You have always seen me as a modern-day Don Juan, and rightfully so. But you, who took me as a friend, couldn't you see in the past so many days that I was suffering as much as you were? In the past few days, you have always looked at me with accusing eyes, but where do you think I stood with this?" he brought up his palm infront of her face, Ananya's ring sparkling happily between the two faces as the last rays of the sun caught the Harry Winston band.
Palak wanted to say something. She began with "I..." but her voice was choked and refused to come out, so she kept staring at him helplessly as the tears continued to roll down. It suddenly felt as if there was total silence around, the birds had stopped chirping, the tree branches had stopped swishing. It was just them, Rithwik and Palak looking lovingly at each other and yet feeling so helpless and overwhelmed with fettered emotions. Caught in that moment, Rithwik's eyes lowered to her lips and his head followed slowly. His face was perhaps a centimeter away from hers when he felt her palm against his lips. Palak's hand had involuntarily moved up to his mouth as she stopped him from betraying his commitment to Ananya the second time in one week.
Somehow gathering the last vestige of courage she had, she said "Some relationships are just not meant to be ...and its not for lack of wanting" ... With that she pulled herself out of his grip, wiped her tears and composed herself. She said "bye" and started walking back to the house. Rithwik stood there, watching her departing figure with unshed tears and whispered to himself "This will be the very first time I will be losing something that I have wanted the most...so this is how it feels to lose"
