The scene was good but I really feel Yogita badly needs to work on her voice modulation, tone, pace n everything during such confrontation scenes. She goes too fast, plain and straight in such heavy duty dialogues; no comma, no full stop, no question mark, no exclamation!!! Start to end same tone n pitch as if she is just reading those dialogues. She gotta slow down a bit, take some pauses meanwhile, let the eyes do the talking than the words, move here n there or show some hand gestures or something. This single-tone dialogue delivery sounds really boring n irritating to me. I know she is a newbie n hence I don't expect much intense things from her, but this is the least I would expect from any person if he is working as an actor.

Disagree 😛 ... if I was blasting someone, it would be fast, plain and straight with no pauses...I thought her anger and frustration came out really well ...its the way a person would want to vent ... no commas, no spaces, and definitely no full stops 😃

Kisi ko samjhane mein aur kisi par bhadaas nikaalne mein farq hai ...kisi ko samjhate samay shaayad pauses ki and extra voice modulation ki zaroorat padti hai

But this is just me... I totally recognize that every person's sensibilities are different and rightfully so.😊

That could be ur style n ur opinions, alright.
For me, it wasn't that great. I m a person who would speak a few words but that would hurt the other person right in their heart if I have to vent my frustration out. I agree there r different personalities n their own way of venting it out. But if I was at the receiving end like Ritwik, I would have been like baas kar meri maa!!😆 I liked her "Ritwik Sir" wala scene more in the last to last episode. I m more a fan of such classy intense scenes than such kaan mein kichkich.
That was about the writing part. Coming to the acting part, I have seen many such scenes where the lady is just blasting the man, and I have loved them even though I m not that type. There has to be some up n down in ur tone when u speak. What she did would have been perfect if it was kind of a scene where she has stayed quiet for too long, finally decides to speak it out, comes with that intention n blurts it out without even knowing what she is speaking n finally hussshhh done! It felt more like that. But it was not the case. It was a scene where some other thing intrigued her hidden pain n hence she blasted him. There are different types of blasting as well. N as an actor the differentiation needs to be done.
Personally, I m not really impressed by Yogita even yet. I won't rule her out that she can never be a good actress because she is just 1 or 2 months old, but as of now, I m definitely not liking her much. There's a difference between being subtle or not OTT and giving same expression n tone forever, for me. She is good in light hearted scenes like thir friendship days, but definitely there's a hell lot of scope of improvement in intense scenes.

I liked how we peacefully and respectfully agreed to disagree 😊 ... not sure if I have seen you earlier on the DHTH forum. If you have been coming here only recently, then I say "Welcome to the forum " 🤗

Yes, I too believe in agreeing to disagree! I hate these fan-wars n unnecessarily blaming people for their own views n calling names like "jealous", "insecure" etc that's the current cool...I mean y on earth would anybody be jealous of just a fictional character or even the actor playing it whom we don't even know personally😆 This is just a weird mentality these days to prove the other person wrong to prove urself right, so its ok to have different opinions n talk only about ur own rather than commenting on others😃
N about ur welcome...well thank u🤗 but I m not really new here, its just that I only make guest appearances😆 I need some inspiration to join the forum discussion n I m not yet really inspired by the show or its characters (except Mamta) or the actors (except Mamta lady again). It went like I saw the promo on the same day the show started n I was bored, so watched the episode n I thought it will be different because they kissed so early😆 So I decided to watch n I really liked their friendship track because that was something fresh which I didn't really expect from the first episode, I thought it would be another rich man middle-class girl love-hate saga. N it is being exactly the same since weeks now, so I m bored🤔 n now I m just watching it for the sake of it. It is only available live, or else I would have finished an episode in 5 minutes! N to make a boring story watchable, at least the actors should be too good, but that's not happening either...I m not able to like KK or Yogita so much that I could ignore the story for them, nor their looks, nothing inspires me There are just too many characters n extras in this show n Noon house is a chaos (though I love their cute family bond) I mean everything looks so scattered n it looks like less of a house n more of some public place. What was that in the name of sangeet? Kitni bheed thi😕
Anyways, to introduce myself, Hi😛I m Anuja. Comparatively a recent Indian TV viewer, like since 3-4 years only. Yhm, its initial story n its outstanding actors attracted me to the TV like never before. I used to be a part of that forum, but the show isn't my cup of tea anymore nor that forum full of negativity, I just watch the random parts of the episode which give me the looks n performances of my favourites, that's it😛 Followed by that was Naamkarann (post leap) n I was in love with those unique n strong characters where the male lead was #goals by all means who had his heart n brain in right place always and the female lead was extra-ordinarily strong, yet humane n very inspiring in real life, and their love story very well written. N of-course their chemistry was cute of its own kind. So yeah, I was a part of that forum too. N current favourite is Bepannaah...that's my favourite kinda intense story n the actors class apart! (Well, Zain Imam n Harshad Chopda's looks, specially their eyes have been my equally important reasons for being hooked to these shows😉😳😆)
And continuing to watch ishqbaaaz n dhth just because I started to watch them, though currently I like nothing about both of them😆 This forum looks mature enough who can take constructive criticism, so I dare to come here at least once in a while, but IB fandom toh...tauba...humse na ho paega!😆 So not in that forum.
So having been a fan of these shows n actors n having been watched them religiously, it gets difficult for me to like Yogita's acting n I imagine these people in the same scene n I m left disappointed. But I do realise that comparing her with these veterans is very unfair to her, n hence I just ignore the thought most of the times. Though as a newbie, I can't stop remembering Aditi Rathore too! I hope Yogita soon creates a niche of her own that I can see her for herself n don't remember other actors n don't need to make unfair comparisons!

@ IFLove - Hi Anuja, nice to make your acquaintance. Feel free to call me Neeti. Give DHTH and the actors a chance, I am sure they will grow to live up to your expectations. The pace has slowed a bit for now, but hopefully it will speed up since Ekta has been receiving a lot of online flak.
And do keep coming here; its one of the most harmonious and peace loving forums across IF, you may find yourself actually enjoying the talks 😊 ... Its true that most people in this forum like KK and Yogita a lot, but I assure you they will not insult you if you choose to offer a different opinion... they will still welcome you as I do.

I don't trust that ekta lady at all...the more she receives flak, more she continues her non sense that enrages the fans even more. Her ego to prove her decisions right is important than the show's betterment for her, is what I have felt over the years. Let's see what she does this time.
N yeah, I'll try to be more active. I don't care even if people insult me, but I don't like to spoil the fun all r having with my uncommon views, so I would keep away. I wouldn't like to spread negativity in a positive forum. So whenever I have something good to talk about, I'll surely be here😊
