i know i will get into controversial waters but dont understand what she's expected to do though? if she was suspicious and mean then she is a typical vamp. if she is confident and assured in her relationship then she is delusional?
its not like she is just going along like nothing is wrong. she did detect that something was up but was given resounding assurance by ricky that its all good. and she sat on his lap- so what? ppl sit on their boyfriend's laps- rithwik is her fiance, its the 21st century. why is that such an issue? in her head hes going to be her husband in less than a week. that comes with expectations of a lot more intimacy than just sitting on his lap. they are friends who are now engaged. in any normal situation the relationship would have to evolve somewhat past the boundaries of friendship. we as viewers know the situation is normal and ship the main couple but to her everything is normal.
i feel terrible for palak but ananya's not the one creating the problems with any sort of intention as per the story line. she's no reeva who was delusional to think her fiance would just forget about the girl he loves. she's trying to get close to the fiance who has reassured her twice now that he wants to be with her and nothing is up.
and people marry for a lot less reasoning than 'we are close friends'. many high society marriages to date happen over business partnerships even. its all good to speculate but the cvs havent really compromised her character yet. we have to wait and watch.
on a different note: we always complain about ott vamps in love stories and how illogical and brattish they are. here we have been given a second heroine who is not brattish but at least till now, a great girl and we are freaking out even more. cos i guess a good character feels more threatening than a typical 'vamp' to the main couple? its harder to justify breaking her heart i suppose. 😆
