While I agree on principle that is is not ideal, I don't know if making a deal with Gauri to get rid of Svet ruins Om totally? Yes the guy he was before probably would not have done it. Having said that, he saved Gauri despite not thinking well of her. Then he was honest enough to walk away from there afterwards, coz he did not accept the marriage as real.

He is not exactly pathetic. He's just being uncharacterestic.. Something I hate a lot.. I miss those days when we used to discuss his flaws. His flaws were what made him look real.. His flaws made him stand out as someone unique. But now, I dnt see anything that defines him as a character.. Its just the same old love story without a story..

I think lets not jump to any conclusions. ...lets watch episode first...omkara is not using gauri to get rid of swetlana. ...I dont think so its a rite word using gauri...yes he can ask for gauris help...and being a true friend gauri will ready to help him...Omkara changed after fire incident but itna bhi nahi ke he will take advantage of someone and tht 2 a person who helped him so much...

For me striking a deal is not a problem but my problem is why would Om strike a deal to get rid of Svetlana as his main problem is as soon as he refuse to marry her she will run to his father and his mom will try to commit suicide therefore I don't see any point in Om trying to cancel his wedding without fully exposing Svetlana in front of Tej.
Either it should be Om asking Gauri to help him to expose Svetlana or Gauri taking the initiative herself or on insistence of BM at last moment and revealing herself as Om's wife as she can't see him spoiling his life by marrying Svetlana. I agree this can increase MU but this only seems logical.
This can result in Tejlana wedding which has many benefits
Either Janvi will understand finally that her relation was long dead or Tej will realize Janvi's importance after Svetlana's tortures.
But Om will be free from TejLana's tortures he will only have to bear Janvi's tortures.
Om Gauri will be officially together and love or fights will be their choices and quite possible after this Om will not have to fill gauri's mang with his blood.
