Thousand Years: A rikara SS

This ss is based on the Monday precap about Omkara finding out that Gauri is chulbul and the aftermath.

My name is Gayatri and I have read a few stories on this forum but there aren't many so I got tempted write after listening to the song Thousand Years from the movie Twilight.

So here we go...

Omkara was smiling as chulbul was again busy in one of his antics. He was the only sunshine in his gloomy life. As he was watching him he suddenly noticed something odd. Was it Sindoor in chulbul's forehead but how is it possible! he was a guy after all but he wasn't mistaken so he confronted him. "Chulbul ye kya tumhare maang me Sindoor"(Chulbul you have vermillion on her forehead). Chulbul was frozen, he cursed himself for doing so much overaction He stammered,"nai ...nai, hum bhala Sindoor kyun lagyege...Hum toh chirote hain... chiraya thodi hain jo Sindoor lagake ghumenge"( I am a boy not a girl why will I apply vermillion.) with a sheepish smile and was trying to get away when Omkara caught him. "Jhoot mat bol chulbul." Idhar aa(Don't lie to me. Come here) Omkara said. Gauri was reciting all the prayers she knew. Omkara came closer to her and removed the hair from her forehead. The Sindoor was intact. "Ye kya hain?"( What is this?) Omkara questioned taking a bit of Sindoor in his hand. But before Chulbul could answer, Omkara felt something strange about his hair,like it was a wig.

Omkara went ahead and touched Chulbul's hair. His hands were shaking but so was Gauri because just a few hours back she witnessed the amount of hatred her husband had for her. All the blood from her face was drained. She was as white as chalk. She wondered how he would react if the truth comes out now. Meanwhile Omkara wished in the heart of his heart that this shouldn't turn out what he was thinking. His heart couldn't take one more betrayal but little did he know he was destined for the biggest shock of his life.

Omkara removed the wig. The scene that met him was beyond his understanding.For a moment he couldn't understand how to react.Fate had played the most cruel trick ever possible on him. The boy he trusted the most after his brothers turned out to be the girl he hated the most in disguise.

All he could utter was " Tum!"(You!"). Gauri couldn't stand the pain that was being reflected by his eyes. She started to explain him," Omkara ji hamari baat suniya. Please. Ham aapko dhoka nahin dena chathe the .Hama..." "Tumhari majboori thi haina,woh halat hi kuch aise the"Omkara spoke in between.Gauri stood rooted to her place while tears were flowing continuosly from her eyes. Omkara's eyes were blood shot. " Aur kitna gir Sakti ho tum. Ek Ghar todkar tumhare ji nahi bhara ki tum yaha bhi Chali aai. You know what tum to use swetlana se bhi batar ho. Woh toh atleast jaise hain waise dikthi hain Lekin tum- itne Masoom se shakal lekar na jane kitne gharoon Ko toda hai." Omkara wanted to drag her down and throw her out,but better sense prevailed and he understood that if he did any such thing his whole family would come to know and he didn't want to involve his family. He closed the door and turned towards Gauri,who still stood transfixed there. Omkara knew he was restraining his anger with a lot of effort."Please leave this mansion before I lose my temper. I don't want Kali Thakur to find you but if you won't leave then I would myself give you to him and make a deal of it."he said with his each word dripping hatred.

Gauri was heartbroken at his last statement.She couldn't control her emotions and was about to leave the room, when she heard a vase getting broken and Omkara uttering "Jaane woh konsi manhoos ghadi thi jab main tumse mila, meri zindagi suljane ke bajay ulajthi Jaa Rahi hai. That was the last straw for Gauri. Then and there she decided what she wanted to do .

Precap: "Gauri ye tum kya kar Rahi ho" Omkara shouted. Gauri gave him a cold shoulder and went to kali Thakur and said "Hum aapke saath chalkar shaadi karenge Lekin humari ek shart hai."

Chapter-2

Gauri went running to her room in the servant's quarters. There are times when even the most optimistic soul feels the darkness that is creeping around them and it becomes difficult to rise from the darkness when you realise that you are the only source of light in your life. Gauri was feeling the same too. Her life had never been easy. She never knew who her parents were,she got seperated from her sister ,her adopted father was never kind to her , she was dropped out of the school despite being a excellent student because she was a girl and now she was being treated as an object. The only second person she loved after her mother,hated her with such intensity that he was ready to hand her over to such a person who was a antithesis to the definition of man. Something in Omkara's words had broken her heart beyond repair. She decided her course of action now. She knew the only person who might get affected the most will be her foster mother but then she knew her mother had enough strength to take one more blow from life. She decided to pack her things. She looked below her bed and was pulling her bag when her eyes fell on that strange looking toy which came out from her bag. She remenisced all the moments she spent with Omkara and it brought a fresh bout of tears. She tried remembering what it was called and unconsciously uttered the words "bo...ro, bo... Nahin robo..." Immediately she was hit with a wave of realisation. She looked at the toy again and found 2 red dot shaped eyes. If there was one thing Gauri Kumari Sharma was good at it was knowing that 2 + 2 is 4. She understood that this was the clue that the doctor and detective were talking about. She tried opening the toy and found a small door in its stomach . She opened it and found a strange rectangular object. She didn't know what it was but sensed that it was important. Her first instinct was to run and go to Omkara but she remembered his words and dropped the thought. The next best option would be Rudy she thought. She rushed to his room at once in his Chulbul form and narrated to him everything about the doctor and detective. Rudy was elated. Finally his O needn't marry that botox ki Devi. Rudy had finally found a way to make the party more interesting.

The party was going on in full swing. But Omkara felt out of place. He wanted to run away from everything and everyone. His trust has been broken so many times that now he had no faith on humanity. Everywhere he looked he could see only devils disguised as humans. There was his dad and then Kali Thakur and finally women like Gauri and Svetlana. Speaking of Svetlana he was worried about the announcement that she was going to make.

Speak of the devil and the devil comes. Svetlana came in front of the projector to make an announcement. As soon as she said she had a good news., everyone turned towards her. But before she could utter a word, a film started playing on the screen. The reactions that followed the film ranged from shock to jubilation. Shocked- Tej Oberio and Elated- Jaanvi Oberio. As for a certain Omkara Singh Oberio he didnt know how to react. But before he could say or do something another shock was awaiting him.

Svetlana was trying to escape but Tej ordered security to catch her,they removed her mask. Before he could question her, a voice boomed in the hall way ---Rukjaaye! There were 4 people in the party who recognised it. Two were shocked,one was smirking and the last ones blood went cold.

A certain Gauri Kumari Sharma made her entry. Kaali Thakur smirk grew bigger. Jaanvi was shocked and wanted to ask her what she was doing her but buamaa stopped her. The first to speak was Omkara, others were just mute spectators. " Gauri ye tum kya kar Rahi hoo." Gauri gave him a cold shoulder and answered him"Hum jo bhi kare,puchne wale aap hote kaun hain?"She went to Kaali Thakur and told him"Hum aapke saath chalne Ko taiyaar hain. Aap humare saath jo kuch bhi kare hum kuch nahin kahenge Lekin hamari 2 sharte hain-pheli ye ki aap meri maa aur Omkara ji aur unke parivaar Ko akele chod denge aur doosri ye ke aap Omkara ji ke saath woh 3000crore ki deal karenge." Kaali Thakur smiled and asked " Bhala hum Aisa kyun karenge." He snatched Gauri and was about to drag her when something happened that led Omkara Singh Oberio to shout a soul peircing " Gauri". Gauri had stabbed herself with a knife and threw it in the hands of Kaali Thakur and in his anger he had stabbed her once again when the police had arrived.

Omkara ran towards Gauri and caught her while police had arrested Svetlana as well as Kali Thakur. Meanwhile SSO and Rudy made a entry.Shivaay indicated Rudra to be with om and asked the police to follow him.

Omkara lifted Gauri and was taking her to the car followed by buamaa and jaanvi. Gauri was trying to free herself and a guilt and grief stricken Omkara questioned as to what she was trying to do, to which she replied", Aap sahi the Omkara ji, dekhiye toh hum aapke zindagi se humsha ke liye Jaa rahe aur aapki pareshaniyoon ne bhi aapko humesha ke liye chod diya. Waise bhi humare jeene ya marne si kise Ko koi farak nahi padega.." Before Omkara could say anything in retaliation Gauri had fainted. That day Omkara understood the meaning of the words he read as a17 year old- " Words in my not humble opinion are our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both -inflicting pain and remedying it."

Then and there Omkara decided that he would do anything to bring his Gauri back, his wife back and more importantly his best friend back.

Time stands still

I will not let anything, take away

What's standing in front of me
