Where did I say being an "Oberoi" gives him a right to mistreat people? Where in my comment have I said that? Don't put words in my mouth please. I said Omkara is an Oberoi, as in, he is from a wealthy background. So selling himself for money is not something he has to do.
Buying happiness is not selling himself. He has NO intention of marrying Svetlana. This whole engagement is a ploy set up by Shivaay and Om to buy "time". They want to put Svetlana into a false sense of security that she is getting what she wants, and in the meantime find out who she really is and what her plan is.
Most of us here have watched both the shows and we have a long history of the characters, so better able to comprehend their motivations. I am not sure if you have seen IB, so maybe the way Om is, is a surprise to you, but to many of us it's not. He has been judgemental in the past too, and what he saw of Gauri was enough for him to judge.I NEVER said he was right. I said I know why he is judging her. He doesn't want to give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore because he has been conned and let down by women he trusted in the past. He doesn't want to open himself up to that again.You can't just judge the actions without knowing the context in which they are being played out. That is what I meant.
