i used to follow ishqbaaz during it's initial stages and from what I know, Omkara was this person who was kind, good and someone who was always positive. That was how his character was portrayed.

So since i haven't been catching up on the epis, May I know the reason behind Omkara's rude behaviour in dil bole oberoi? was there a twist in ishqbaaz or any incident that made him to act that way. I just watched the 1st epi of DBO and kinda finding it diff to connect the dots.

Well the changed behaviour is fairly indicated in Ishbaaz episodes of the week before DBO start.

Though it was more a build up with his experiencs..the trigger was...

Shvetlana staying at their house, brought in by Tej annoys Om and Jhanvi majorly.

Then one day Jhanvi commits suicide. Om is heart broken when Jhanvi commits suicide because Tej gives her divorce

N finally that day he realises that he has failed to protect his mother, he has failed as a son. Then he decides to be a stone wall like Shivaay.

"Aaj unka raja beta mar gaya,

An ye pathar ban gaya hai"

He says something like that.
