My Take On DBO Promo
I found both the promos very symbolic..here is my take on them.
Promo 1
Om with his family, gets up and leaves. Clearly he is heart broken and now his belief from love has gone. His mother loved selflessly but all she got back was pain. Now he will take revenge for his mother's pain.
He leaves the four, symbolic to him leaving his home. Yes The VanVaas.
When he goes out, he realises his car isnt working.
Symbolic to him being stuck in the mess created by Life.
He shows his frustation on the car.
Symbolic he will show his fustration on Life.! He has to figure a way out but how?
She comes running in and bangs into him, when he least expects.
She is symbolic to an angel coming out of no where to his aid.
But wait...
Did u notice the falling leaves, its autumn.
Yes the season of his heart is autumn.
He has no belief in love now. But yet he holds on to what comes to him...!
The frame freezes.
Wait to see whats next...!
Will She Help Him Find His Wajood.?
Dont they say, when in love you discover the real you..?
Vanvaas also symbolises that! A man goes on Vanvaas to discover the real him.
Promo 2
Lost is the Om that he was once.
The paint brush has been replaced by a phone.
But wait, he still retains himself somwhere in, hiding it from the world. Because he now feels the world doesn't deserve the real him.
His bracelet is still on.!! We havent lost him, he is there but hidden.
The tune clearly hints at the rise of a lion.The emerging of a new warrior.
And as he walks the battle with attitude, he crosses path...with HER..!
They Cross Paths..!
Her brightly colourful dupatta over him signifies, she is going to bring back the colours to the surface.
The colours are now hidden beneath the black.
She will resurface them.!! She will help him find his Wajood.
Because his wajood he can find only when he is him, The Real Him.!!
She will bring back the Real Om.
