It is really awkward to have these contestants keeping calling Geeta "ma" and her making these childish faces and voices. These people all have their own mothers who deserve that respect and love - not some choreographer of a dance show. It is really pathetic to watch.
The whole concept of your guru being like a parent has its origins in things such as classical music or higher learning where you spend years and years under the care and tutelage of a master. At that point, referring to them as "Guru" or some other higher term is appropriate. And even then, you'll hear musicians refer to their "Gurujis" not their "papa" and "ma"
