No one among us have that much capabilities and maturity to handle it. So I am strictly confined this topic to the question level , do not try to exaggerate things.)

----->> fab topic choosen by u foram dear👏
i found it tough to answer some of the Qs...

yes, it's tough , even i got confused in between, but i think it was all about trying...😛

I know I haven't done justice to the topic . I'm neither literature nor psychology student , but I have tried and find it real difficult. Well I'm placing few questions for all of us that will help us to insight this topic more.

1. According to you, what is pride, a sin or a virtue, a good or a bad?

according to me, i feel pride the satisfaction i get from my achievements.. what i have achieved till date...😊 you should as you achieved this by putting your hard work and good faith.😛

i feel pride will be a sin or bad only when a person thinks too highly abt oneself🤢 (self-obsessed🤢) and feels dat other ppl in this world r worthles..😡 absolutely

2. Except 3 M's , what could be other reason that ignite pride in oneself?

for me, the other reasons that ignite pride in me are my parents, friends, the values given to me, and my relatives😛 yes family is one thing that make us feel proud.

3. Are pride and prejudice compatible of each other?

yes, to some extent they can be compatible with each other... of often ppl who have too much of pride about oneself make pre-concieved judgement abt others...!!!! good answer swetha.

4. What is probability of your prejudices? Or How many times your judgment proved correct ?

I do become judgemental about people whom i going to met... i hardly observe ppl unlike my sisters... Well , i can say the probability of my prejudice is 30 to 40%... It has happened in my life that... twice or thrice , my judgement about people has been proved wrong too... aftr i met those people...Don't worry, even i'm no better than you, reason is that we both think by heart first and then apply logic.😕

5. If you have read Jane Austen's 'pride and prejudice', are you believe that destiny is too generous with Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, otherwise with this much pride and prejudice for each other , a love story is possible?

Wow..!😛 My fav book😳 Yes.. i do feel the same.. He intially had high airs about his wealth, status, etc and she had pre-concieved notion/prejudice about him... Only after they came closer in the bid to find the truth about Wickham, they came closer to each other😳 Also, they were truthful and honest to each other throughout..😛 so this can aslo be another reason for them to come close😳😍 yes they both were truthful and honest , that is the main point of love.😳

6. Justify Aarati's behavior towards her mother, Savitri at Bapuji's funeral?.

Yes.. her behavior is justified to certain extent.. she had lost her bapuji to whom she was so close and he was like a fatherly figure to her... in short she has lost someone so close to her in her life that no one else can replace that void...

So she was not mentally stable at that moment.. and at that moment her biological mother all of a sudden turns up and tries to comfort her...!!!!! Obviously her old wounds opened up... at savitri's words and she gave that outburst/her pent up anger/frustration at her biological mother...

We all know from yesterday 9th june 2011 episode, she accepts her mistake and regrets the fact about shouting at her biological mother...

From aartis' point of view... aarti has been neglected a lot as a child...! rejection from her biological mother, she never got a proper family at whom she can fall back on...! Just coz savitri is her biological mother... she cant be forgiven for what she did to her child aarti years ago...😡 So in a way, aarti has every right to ask savitri about the wrong she did to her years ago..!!

(my ma while watching the serial last nite with me.. made me understand aarti's view point... abt her outburst dat v all saw in Maha Epi...) No doubt people has said ma is the best teacher.👏

Thanks for answering swetha,Nice answer and honest, i know it's difficult for you to take spare time to write this, while you are preparing for your final examination.

👏, this one is for Aunty ( your mom) to explain it so beautifully, because we both know how we feel about aarati😳

Swetha, your explanation, made me emotional,we are so wrong to judge her, 😲 why because we have our mothers to twist our ears and explain when we do something wrong but she doesn't have that, and this vacuum can not be filled even by her bapu.

last nite while seeing the epi.. i actually told ma dat i want alka to win 😛
i further said dnt want aarti to win, she is bad, high-fi dialogs and all (wat she told to chander was rubbish.. etc.. ) My ma immediately told me not to wish bad for aarti... She told me what that poor girl has done dat ur saying dat u dont want aarti to come-up... (in elections ,etc).. Ma den explained it to me dat aarti is a viction of circumstances.. she has been neglected a lot by her family, she has faced the a lot in ife ,etc,,,, Ma further told me dat if something good happens to aarti(wining election , becoming mla) den see and learn from her character.. how she was determined , how she did on her own... (no support.. unlike what alka has,,,, her family support...)

in short.. Ma told me to learn a lesson in real life seeing aarti's character... ie her good virtues like determination , how she succeded on her own, etc😛

Thank you very much to all for you support , well i don't know what ever comments i gave you and whatever answer i write is correct or not . But as i already said that it is all about trying...

1. According to you, what is pride, a sin or a virtue, a good or a bad?

In Mythological context pride is always seen as "sin". so if that is the case then why parent feel proud when their children comes first, why we feel proud when our players win the match, why we say the word " Nation's pride" even definition of pride says it's all about feeling excellent , It echos good of you ,so pride can not be sin. No it's not like that, It's not about being black and white. Here i'm comparing pride with fire, can we say fire is good or bad, Pride like a fire needs to be regulated, constantly watched, one should be constantly vigilant of one's self. Pride , regulated , reflects self respect and motivates, just like fire ,under control, gives light and warmth. And this is virtue. But when it gets out of control, unregulated, it destroys everything, including yourself as it directly affects your thinking ability. This is sin.

2. Except 3 M's , what could be other reason that ignite pride in oneself?

For a gardener , his nursery, For a artist, his Art, For a collectionist, their collection of stamps or coins, For a racer his car or bike, For a architect , his design of a bridge or building, For a teacher ,her student, For my ma, her daughters and her collection of handwork sarees...😆, there are so many you just name it. And these things, people proud of is harmless in nature. I think every one should have these in them , these is essential to boost one's morale.

But when i say " ignite pride", i mean when a person is proud of something , that person tries to demoralise others by demonstrating his/her pride.Few examples are ( these is my real life experiences)

Highly educated person,..they just lash out simple , less educated people's opinion.

Youth, ( all that comes between thirteen to twenty three/ four, ( there must be exception among this, but i'm referring in general) ), Today's youth ( including all of us) is so proud of their's age, with so much resources at their disposal , their behavior towards, aged ( people in their 40's ) and senior citizen is rude and not respectable. They believe in "bindass" attitude and change , but always forget that "charity begins with home"

People having higher IQ's and knowledge, when tree bears lots of fruit, it tries to reach down to earth. But few people are opposite to this , instead of being down to earth they feel proud of their intellegence and knowledge and consider others foolish.

3. Are pride and prejudice compatible of each other?

o.k. hmmm...well i'm sorry😳 , i don't have the answer, I'm tried to establish the relation but it didn't worked out,This is so shameful but i'm clueless.

4. What is probability of your prejudices? Or How many times your judgment proved correct ?

I already said, I'm not better than swetha,😆 so probability varies between 30 to 40 %, but recently i have adapted a new method of trial and error, let see how much it help ful.😊

5. If you have read Jane Austen's 'pride and prejudice', are you believe that destiny is too generous with Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, otherwise with this much pride and prejudice for each other , a love story is possible?

yes, destiny was generous. But in today's world it's not possible because such honesty is next to immpossible...( this couldn't be my answer😡, how can i deny a love story...wait i'm in still thinking process)

6. Justify Aarati's behavior towards her mother, Savitri at Bapuji's funeral?.

First let me say i was prejudiced towards her ( nothing new, every one knows that , foram😡) O.k agreed Aarati deprived of her mother's love, which is must for every children, so her brust out can be justified in that sense.

Now let's check few facts:

Her brought up was done by bapuji, a honest politician. That means Aarati shouldn't suffered for all that basic necessity , which was suffered by children in such case. In fact She has best of not only the education but also other comfort of life.

Bapuji brought her up with a aim to make her a good politician.

I still didn't get why bapuji hide this fact from savitri so long , when Aarati knows everything About it.

My aim here is to compare Alka and Aarati without any bais

Aarati deprived her mother's love, so as Alka she was also left alone in america, without the family. Aarati is to have her bapuji to guide her, protect her, where alka has no one except her friend( remember Ralph).Arati has inherited her bapuji's seat and become politician before alka, Alka even can't think of that, it was abhishek who is going to inherited that legacy. What i'm trying to say is do not sympathise with Aarati, just because of the fact that she was left . Aarati has equal opportunity , which Alka and abhishek have

Aarati was trained to be politician, Alka wasn't .Politician wasn't like us , they know to control their emotions. But aarati failed as a politician, a daughter took over a politician , why because she can't see Alka and savitri together, otherwise Aarati and savitri met before this , why didn't she react at that time. She always hated Alka. She is jealous of her,I still can't see the reason and that is why i don't like her, hate her.

Loved the comparison with fire...it was very much apt👏

o.k. hmmm...well i'm sorry , i don't have the answer, This is being shameful but i'm clueless. why shameful..u only said na.."its all about tryn"😊

4. What is probability of your prejudices? Or How many times your judgment proved correct ?

I already said, I'm not better than swetha,😆 so probability varies between 30 to 40 %, but recently i have adapted a new method of trial and error, let see how much it helpful.😊 u knw..'trial n error' always gives the best result⭐️

5. If you have read Jane Austen's 'pride and prejudice', are you believe that destiny is too generous with Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, otherwise with this much pride and prejudice for each other , a love story is possible?

yes, destiny was generous. But in today's world it's not possible because such honesty is next to immpossible...( this couldn't be my answer, how can i deny a love story...wait i'm in still thinking process) actually u never know😳

6. Justify Aarati's behavior towards her mother, Savitri at Bapuji's funeral?.

What i'm trying to say is do not sympathise with Aarati, just because of the fact that she was left . Aarati has equal opportunity , which Alka and abhishek have

I kinda disagree here! as i feel we cant compare alka n aarti like this...bcoz the way aarti was 'left'...that's way more dreadful than the way alka was 'left' for her higher studies! though alka was away from home...she was never deprived of her family...the family name "tiwari"...where aarti has always lead a life of an orphan...even though bapuji adopted her n she got all the necessary facilities! having a life of an orphan..when u know u r not one..its pathetic! and no one can fill the place of mother, how much ever that person loves/supports you!

And about being a politician..alka actually never wanted to become one..so there's shud not be a feeln of being sidelined by abhishek...where aarti wanted to become one..so bapuji trained her that way..in case she wanted to become a doctor/lawyer..bapuji would have been supported her to become that.

Cant blame aarti here..it was such a miserable n emotional situation that anyone may loose control..and even though she's is political..she's still pretty young n has lots to learn! and she was rude to savitri not bcoz she saw alka n savitri together..what ignited her was..all of a sudden her estranged mother shows up n try to be sympathetic to her..so she reacted in that way! and aarti never claimed to be saint who can forgive ppl jus like that..no normal human being can! also even if she's jealous of alka..she has reasons for that (though i never support jealously..but we cant ignore the fact that is a very common human emotion!)..as alka has got everything what she has been deprived off..which she too deserved being the daughter of savitri..and i never felt that aarti hated alka..though she never liked her that much!
