Nityanand Tiwari and his wife are concerned about their son Abhishek's future. Nityanand is a politician and insists on handing over his position to Abhishek. He is worried about Abhishek misusing his hard earned position and political power. Nityanand takes Abhishek to a press conference. He is confident of Abhishek upholding his position in the political field. When the media people ask Nityanand about his daughter he tells them that she is studing in New york University and she insists of staying away from politics.

Micheal meets Alka in a pub and admires her. Alka is furious when Micheal talks cheaply about her job. The manager defends Alka and asks Micheal to back off. Alka refuses to move in with her boyfriend when he requests her to do so. She tells him about her marriage alliance.

Alka pretends to be clumsy in front of Jai and stuns him by ordering for alcohol in the restaurant. Jai is irritated when she talks about her boyfriends and failed relationships. He leaves Alka in the restaurant after she faints consuming too much alcohol. Alka lies to her mother about her loving Jai's proposal. Alka tells her friend Sonali that she never plans to return to India. She finally decides to propose marriage to her boyfriend.

Alka meets her boyfriend in the church and is surprised when he proposes to her. Alka accepts his proposal and promises to convince her parents to accept him. Abhishek threatens the newspaper owner of dire consequences for publishing a news story about him. Alka reaches Delhi airport and is shocked with the media people asking her about her political dreams. Chander's father makes him watch Alka's news report on television.

After seeing the news, Chander leaves to meet Alka immediately. Nityanand scolds Abhishek for threatening the newspaper owner for printing the article against their family. Nityanand is stunned to see the news and realize that Alka is in India. Alka is stunned to see Chander dragging her out of the airport. Abhishek calls up Chander and requests him to pick up Alka from the airport. He is relieved to know that she is with him.

Alka's mother welcomes Alka to the house. Nityanand introduces Alka to his friends. Alka's mother scolds for not telling them about coming to India. Alka is surprised to see the article in the newspapers about her and Abhishek. Chander reminisces meeting Alka and is lost in her thoughts. Nityanand agrees with his wife that Jai is the right guy for Alka. Alka tells her boyfriend that she will talk about their relationship with her father soon.
