But I am sure somehow Mohan will find out about the sauce and he will respect Kastur more and start doubting Sia's intention otherwise why making big fuss about the sauce?

I found my parents were still living the way they remembered India when they left and went abroad. Instilled the values in us kids and nothing like TPB!!well we all know now that if we have any vegetarian enemies, we just feed them Cheese and oyster sauce sandwiches to get revenge!:-)

I've lived abroad most of my life, but I am proud of my Indian roots, culture & heritage; but I also embrace my Western upbringing & thinking--there is a balance.. I've had numerous discussions w/other friends from the subcontinent, & they have also had similar experiences balancing two cultures. I think Kastur's sanskriti spiel is a bit Ott..To imply that anyone who embraces Western ideals does not know abt sanskriti is absolutely wrong. She would then discount a majority of Indians both in India & abroad. It's not all or nothing...I think in reality you would be hard pressed to find someone like Kastur or Sia who don't have a realistic approach to understanding others' beliefs, values & morals, particularly living in major cities such as Mumbai or London...CVs have completely dropped the ball on this as well...

I'm glad I'm not like TPB or like Kastur! We need to see more of
That in these serials. Maybe if Kastur was like that then Mohan would have already said ILU!

What the fudge was today's episode?! An entire episode dedicated to breakfast... what a waste! 😡 Even worse than that was the whole making the Gala's eat non-veg issue! So so wrong! 👎🏼

I didn't think Sia could get any lower with her actions/intentions because they're bad enough as it is, but boy did she prove me wrong! 🤢 Felt really bad for everyone who trusted her and ate the food. Then we've got the cheap trick she played on Kastur by turning the gas back on! 😡 HATE her to the core and i can't wait till she gets what's coming to her! 🤬

Felt really bad for Kastur today, she was getting it from all directions... including Mohan! But his little outburst was nothing in comparison to Sia and Saroj laying into her! 😡 What i liked about him today was how he asked her to meet him in the bedroom instead of having words in front of others, and how he was ready to intervene for Kastur during Saroj's rant! 👍🏼 Love or not, he's always ready to stick up for her and i love that! ❤️

Dialogue of the day; "Dant khana is ghar kha rivaaz hai." 🤣 That statement rings so true for the Gala circus! So much air-time goes towards family members getting told off for something, it's no wonder it's taken the cv's this long to start focusing on MohUr! 🤔 😡 😆

P.S. Somebody better find that bottle and i don't want it to be Kastur! Should be Mohan or Saroj so that they can see how disgusting a person Sia really is! 🤢

P.P.S. Who has oyster sauce for breakfast?! 🤪

It's not just this serial. Indian serials and their "traditional vs. non-traditional" is insulting. It's not just limited to Indians abroad, but also Indians within India. The most messed up thing is that those behind the scenes, those that have the power to bring entertainment, and those that have the opportunity to be part of the creative process--I would bet money on the fact that none of their sisters and wives are the so called "traditional" or "sanskari" as they portray in serials.

Bollywood also does something similar about Indians abroad, but to a lesser and different extent.

Completely agree with all of the above, but in the context of DP you've hit the nail on the head with the bit in bold!

That's why i found their first meeting weird. Just one look and Kastur knew Sia was from abroad? How? 🤔

As for Sia, i've lived in the UK my whole life and have never come across anybody like her and probably never will! The characterisation is beyond ridiculous!

He did that because TPB was there. And the topic was about TPB.

Did Kastur really know TPB was from abroad? Or was she using that as an insult. Because I've seen similar "insults" thrown at the non-lead females, even if they are not from abroad.

"You dress like this, you don't know certain traditions, what country are you from...Are you even fron this country?" etc.

Yeah, screw you CVs. Guess what -- Forget being from abroad, and forget the fact that many abroad are more conservative than many Indians in India.

Indian traditions and culture are not homogeneous.

But didn't he originally ask her about a misplaced file...? I thought the kitchen talk followed on from that because he was frustrated and ended up mentioning that too. 😕 I dunno... even if TPB wasn't there, i still think he would have taken her aside.

I think Kastur assumed Sia was from abroad because of the way she was dressed, which is even more ridiculous considering she's lived in Mumbai all her life and will know wearing western clothes is the norm! Maybe i'm wrong, but Sia hadn't said enough for Kastur to have come to any sort of conclusion at the point when Kastur made that comment.

Forget Sia, the cv's even forget Kastur is from Mumbai sometimes! That's why they show her doing stupid things like sewing Mohan's jeans not knowing it's supposed to be like that! 😆

I don't it was ever really about the file. I think he knew from the beginning that he would bring up TPB.
