I know, it's just something I always bring up. You know ever since high school you hear about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, and now Zukerberg. And what I said is also exactly what the teachers and profs say. šŸ˜† So it's just an automatic response from me.

About Mohan's degree. Can he succeed, yes. But if the people he's associated with were to find out right now about his education status, they would probably try their best to pull out. Once he is somewhat successful, or if the business goes smoothly enough, then the knowledge wouldn't be that much of a big deal.

People without degrees do succeed all the time in business. But they rarely get the chance like Mohan is getting--in this type of venture, on this scale--without some kind of education or experience to show those willing to invest in you.

For someone who is witty & thinks well for himself, it is a good retort...not that it discounts the fact that Mohan may have actually 'acquired knowledge' and an education, just not the actual paper degree...šŸ˜‰

I appreciate you questioning the logic behind the success; it is food for thought, right? And I used Jobs & Gates because they are relatable for exactly the reasons you stated. I could get technical, but wouldn't want to induce a virtual coma..šŸ˜†

Yea in promo kastur said mohan ji ney apni degree poori nahi ki so am hoping he atleast went till last semester šŸ˜† and may be when he is successful and has money he can go back and finish the paper thing as well 🤣

And pardeep keeps saying Mohan is very intelligent, also that investors loved his proposal ... so there must be something in him that makes him say that ... unless intelligence = degree for pardeep šŸ˜†

You know hard-work in life covers up for alot of our faults ... if a person is hard-working he can achieve a lot even with lesser knowledge and education ... and Mohan does look hard working .. so i won't be surprised if he covers up his other faults with that one quality. Hard work pays ... I have experienced it in my own life, you can cover up a lot of your short coming and still be successful i you can work hard

Right from the beginning I wanted that degree from Saroj's sake and later for Kastur's sake and then for Mohan himself! But now seeing how the story is going and how everyone is taking U turns, 90 degree turns etc...
I am glad the degree is fake🤣
Sabki bolti band ho jaye gi... baapji cant yell at him anymore for his "phorun parayi" Saroj cant claim Kastur is not worth him bcoz she is 9th pass and Mohan is MBA! Bhanu cant tell him to stop back-answering elders
Bcoz his degree is fake so he is a "liar", a "failure" and so a "spoilt brat" so "back-answers"🄳🤣

great topic anjali...
i don't think a degree is important...its the education which matters...
i've seen and come acrss people who are degree holders...but dumb...
a degree in ur name...doesn't guarantee u a success mantra in ur life...
wat matters is watever u've learnt...the way u use it...
its the knowlege which matters!

Awesome topic Angali

The answer for this question isn't cut and dried to say yes or no cause it has grey areas.

I don't feel a degree is to needed to start your own business cause with knowledge and experience you can evolve and your business can be a success.

Yes a degree is also important needed for higher employment and big salaries. People having trouble finding jobs due to the economy still doesn't take away the fact that a degree is important in your career. If you don't have a degree is hard for you to get a job that pays your worth in knowledge, unless you were already at the company working your way up so experience is added to your resume and make's you applicable but still isn't guaranteed.

When I had my internship at one of the financial banks people who work there would look down at me cause they felt they had more knowledge and experience and deserve the position. Were they wrong in there thinking No but that is the reality since beginning of time.

Due to the economy and competitiveness, is sad that people with degree aren't paid there worth but it isn't cause the degree isn't valid.

@Lik: I'll get technical, but my brain tank is running on empty at the moment. With this show & my work, I'm ttly toast...

@Soaps: bingo on your second post! When you have the passion, hard & work are just words...the hard work comes automatically...

@Sam: Hehehe...Agreed!...Lagta hai Kastur ka reverse psychology wala funda is being applied by forum members...God save us!! šŸ˜†

@Vandy: thank you! Absolutely agree! Some of the so-called 'toppers' I know...ummm the less said the better abt them. Book smart & having multiple degrees rarely determines success...it's being able to use that knowledge as you said that ultimately contributes towards it...
