Why are Vipul and Narmada sidetracked?

I dont understand why this family is so unfair with their children.
Last week, Saroj very clearly says that out of her 3 sons, Vipul, Mohan, and Kannu, Mohan is a favourite. How can any mother just say that? How can she differentiate between her children?

And now Saroj says that she has been holding the Mataji kalash on top of her head for 25 years.
What about Narmada?
Baap-ji has been so excited to include Kastur in the family, even before the marriage he's made her take Saroj's place. Why was Narmada ever given this honour?

You know, if in the future Narmada turns evil and turns envious of Kastur, who could blame her? If rights like this are given to Kastur over her, then of course there will be bitterness.

They should be showing equality between bahus

Well you raise all interesting questions and there is really no answer. I never even seen Saroj interact with other children which is grounds for some drama in the future I see it. I admitted this before that I wasn't at ll surprise that Mohan is her favorite. It floors me that Saroj talks about baapji don't treat her with respect but I don't see hers for other children or Narmada. Saroj didn't allow Narmada to Matajis Garba it would mean giving up the JOY of having baapji to bow and touch her feet. 😆

Yeah. I wasn't surprised that Saroj's favourite is Mohan. But I was a bit surprisedthat she would flat out admit it. And you know what gets me? The way she admits it. She says her children feel that she loves Mohan more. And goes on to say that they are correct. She does love Mohan more.😕 Seriously? She knows how her children feel, but still doesn't make an effort. Instead she simply accepts that it's the truth.

And as I said before, as much as Baapji is at fault and Saroj's predicament is understandable, what's happening right now is also payback for Saroj's blatant favouritism.

i agree about what others said regarding her loving mohan more but that is because she saw hope in Mohan, so she put all her hope in him, which was wrong with her other children but in her situation was compelled by circumstances. And yes she will be hurt the most once her dream shatters. As for it being payback well i feel her entire life has been pay back, being a woman you just have to put yourself in her shoes and evaluate how would you feel if you have had no say in your household?

As for namrada and vipul, i think in future namrada will either play "oil" in the fire between kastur and saroj by doing idhar ki baat udhar or she will join hands with saroj to destroy kastur. Because if you look at her sarcastic expression during the garba thing it hints to that.

As for not letting garba thing to be done by namrada dunno it could have been baapji's decision because he makes all decision saroj does not, so not sure if she even had the choice and its obvious baapji does not like namrada much.

Before Sami (BRO) left for Uni, we always used to have this stupid fights about who our mom likes more .. Me or Sami. And my mom is like she likes us equaly no matter what happens. She kept both of us in her womb for 9 months and a mother can never chose between her children. 😒

I really don't like this fact about the show .. I feel all this differentiating will create problems for both Mohan and Kastur later on in the story. 😵

Really Saroj, you diffrentiate between your children, then this is going to happen
In the future she will diffrentiate between her bahus too, always putting NArmada before KAstur

I dont like this quality in Saroj favouring over her children, I would never favour one child over the others - all children should be equal in the mothers eyes/heart. Not only is not fair on the ones who are neglected from this love but also its not fair on Mohan whose got all the pressure of the extra love to making his mother's dreams come true.
I didn't like how matter of factly she said it she loves Mohan more than them and that to their faces when her other children questioned her about her love she has for Mohan 😕 that is heartbreaking to any child specially someone sensitive and is guaranteed for fights later in the future between siblings.

Well she didn't admit to her other children, unless there was another time she said it.

She just admitted it to Mohan after he agreed to marry Kastur. I get that he's her hope and dreams. She herself said that. But still, not cool, And it's not really fair to Mohan either, you're right.

And not that not admitting it straight to her children is a great thing. Like she herself said, her other sons already think it. But really it's not that they think it, they know it.
