Right now the only reason he'd even want to marry her would be to get the money quicker IMO, and get the loan sharks off his back. Later, I think we might see him resenting her for it, even if he knows that it wasn't exactly her fault that he agreed to the match. Right now Mohan sees Kastur as just some random person whose parents happen to be friends with the family, and whose grandmother he actually likes.
Saroj's confidence in Mohan rejecting the match seems ominous right now...I'm guessing that by the time he finds out, or maybe a little later, he's going to agree.
