I liked the fact that they showed Mohan for more than a minute. seriously. 😆 complain if you must..but what they showed of mohan today was actually more than what i was expecting. 😆

i like mohan. it's another thing that the psychologist inside me tends to add extra depth to a character when the CV's don't..but trust me..he's believable. none of the under 30 guys in india right now are what they show in most tv serials. they aren't goody-goody righteous prince charmings..nor are they philanderers with no conscience and a penchant for drinking and smoking(they aren't the only bad habits by the way. 😆 they don't even touch bad actually. seriously. ) they are a bit like mohan-they know what to show to family and they know what to show to their buddies. they are bad with a healthy mix of good, or perhaps the other way around.

i also like kastur. usually i hate heroines who are willing to sacrifice their lives for each and everyone and love the hero to death conveniently ignoring all his faults..but i like her. yes...i know a lot many of the girls in my age group would be horrified by such a character..but trust me...many of my friends are as silly as kastur when it comes to guys. 😆 she also has an extra bit of spunk in her..like the way she sunaaofied that snob in the mall..and like in today's episode...when she was teasing her grandmom so openly by singing 'rangoon mein teri yaad sataati hain' 😆 she's a bit ditzy..but then all tv serial heroines have to be. 😆

however...it's simply horrible this whole marriage in lieu of a 20 lakhs loan thing. i know for a fact that mohan's ego will be in for a huge toss when he realises that kastur's dad had funded his education..because i'm pretty sure that by then he will have deduced kastur as 'not worth more than one look'. 😆 but then...not all serials have to follow the traditional childhood sweetheart path.

Harshad and Aasiya are performing their roles remarkably well...in fact..in a storyline which is as run-of the mill as any other..they are the only things that are keeping the serial worth watching. also...i really am waiting for mohan-kastur first meeting. 😳😆

however...for one thing..please don't have kastur mistake mohan for someone else altogether...and then delay her realization of champu into champion for more episodes. usually the hero-heroine thing meet after x years kickstarts the hero's track..and they finally give up on giving him a cameo role...😆

PoV of Overall Epi: Very average. I like some things, I dislike others, I REALLY REALLY hate some others as well. Mixed reaction to the epi as I had yesterday. As with yesterday, every other character besides the leads has been given development of SOME sort!

Points that we liked: Kastur's moment with Baa, definitely...I liked the fact that Baa saw in Kastur her younger self. Also really liked Saroj's grit in the face of the way Baapji scolded her yesterday, and her belief that Mohan and herself have as much rights over the house as anyone else has. I have a feeling her character might be butchered later but for now to me Saroj is an absolute rockstar!! Liked the jogging/temple scene but could have been executed better.

Points that we disliked: The fact that MohUr was forged by Baapji as a way to repay a loan is eww on many levels - one being that Mohan and Kastur themselves are seen less as people and more as commodities, and second because it's BAAPJI who's made this match, and I don't like the idea of the storyline proving him right when this entire mess was HIS fault in the first place! Anyway...also didn't like, for once, the Mohan-Mama scene, because seriously, is there any character development going on there??? Drinking, smoking and eating eggs doesn't exactly cut it, sorry. We barely know anything about him and these things are just stuff he does, it doesn't tell us anything about him as a person.

Mention Bloopers: None I've seen right now.

Msgs for the lead Actors (Sincere Comments): All I can say is...Harshad and Aasiya, you're doing your best making a barbaque out of very very little meat 😕 I just hope the CVs can do more justice to your characters!!

Msgs for the rest of the cast../team/makeup/costume department: Nothing much...the costumes and all so far are good, and so is the look.

Suggestions for handling of tracks: As we have been saying all along, BALANCE. There is a limit to how much sidelining of the leads a viewer can stand.

Other suggestions: Once you start MohUr, PLEASE remember that they are the MAIN characters and need attention!!

Overall Rating: Sorry, but it's 5/10 till we see some improvement.

PoV of Overall Epi:

The overall epi was good, it is slow but I guess they have to kind of go at that pace build up the story but it was nice to know the back story to Mohan and Kastur but now I am wondering does Mohan know that Baapuji has made a promise to marry the two of them

Points that we liked:

I liked the fact we got the back story, also the fact that the Kastur and Ba scene was awesome, it was entertaining I loved the way they both tease each other and I love the way Ba looks at things and gets to the point but also has a lot of love and guidance in her words, also I have to agree with Fary it is nice to see that Mohan is relatable they have made him "bad" but they haven't left him perfect...

Points that we disliked:

Mohan's character perception, I know they want to show the fact he has changed after coming from London, but the perception made me think of all the students that leave from here do they really leave this changed... eating eggs 😆, this one was the funniest one but makes me think wouldn't Mohan try and hide the habits of drinking partying and smoking I mean ok he got caught with the cigarettes but what about the rest? Wouldn't he try and hide it and lie about it...

Aasiya and Harshad are awesome actors and love to watch them both so nothing to say but keep entertaining us all 😆

I am liking Kastur's outfits at the moment, because of the simplicity of them all...

The execution is pathetic ... and the way they are developing mohan's char it has so many jumps ... am not able to relate to him, one moment they show him full of attitude next moment he is happy go lucky guy ... one moment he is an innocent kid enjoying rain ... on one hand he does not want his mom to find out he smokes on the other he does not mind spending entire night drinking and coming home in morning without fearing someone will find out, i feel the execution is not good ... storyline is good, char is interesting but execution and script weak (not that i can relate to most other chars in the show) Its just the third week and i am not sure if the show interests me enough to keep watching it, i will for hc but not because am hooked to chars or the story 🤔

And trust me watching a show just becuase your fav actor is in it is no fun unless you can relate to story, enjoy it and most importantly relate to the chars ... there is nothing in the story or its execution so far that has hooked me ... I don't find myself thinking or asking hey what will happen next and that is really really bad thing ... There seems to be no depth in the script and characterization is all but flat
