Since we are coming close to the end of the week… now what are your takes on the serial so far… here's mine - a longggggggg post!!!

Plenty of money for initial sets + plenty of talent = should not lead to a poor serial but because the creative team are either not talented or overworked it is not seeming all right… so true, they should make sure that their staff is not overworked as that is when mistakes happen

There was an adequate foundation provided for the story even before the character of PRC… we knew his father we knew BD we loved kamlavati and rupsundari we knew his dadima… we even knew about his Guruji but here we know no one not even the main protagonist Dharam… 😕

I know that RT fans are very happy about it RT'e entry and his shamik dresse 😛 But even if you do make a fan serial, i.e. just for RT fans; you need high TRPs to sustain viewer interest… as that brings in revenue – the only way that is possible is if you make sure the quality and story is good

I know plenty of us have many questions with regards to DV and these are reltively simpler things to explain – a few minutes of screen explanation = thousands of satisfied viewers👏….

Shamiks -

1) Imagine how much more beautiful the serial would have been if they started a scene showing a small village where the Shamiks lived in their huts😳. They wake up even before sunrise to get to work in fear of the Avs – some with pickaxes (fields), some dressed as cooks and some with their construction tools… that itself would explain many things i.e. reflect that they have something to do other than constructing the same structures for years together!!!

(The current DV sets do look slightly un-finished if you ask me ) i agree, it would be good to see where they live, their food etc

2) If they had spent a few minutes showing Veer's father caring for his pregnant wife and daughter before he leaves for work😳… that very gesture would have immediately bonded us to his character.😭. a scene showing a soldier creating trouble for veer's father would mean that they knew he is the revolting type and he has always caused problems for them… yes and it would have got the viewers more entralled in the serial

Ths history of the kings –

1) They could have shown an opening scene in a sabha with the sabha complaining about some rumours they heard about jai. Here jai is disrespectful of the assembly. Consequently, the displeased assembly chose arya instead of jai.

2) If Jai was more secretive in what he was doing and bribing the soldiers then arya wouldn't know full truth na😉… and whenever he does learn something abou Jai time and again, they could show arya reprimanding jai for being way word too😛… but at the end of the day he just lets go… because jai is his brother (i.e. a bit of partiality)

Veer being the messiah

a few Shamiks whispering to each other that so and so month (mashi) of so and so year is arriving and so the messiah will be arriving soon😳... but that the messiah's father will die... or something like that... In the palace, even the fortune teller telling the kings "see remember i warned you about the date of the messiah's birth - that is today"

rather than randomly just naming a kid a messiah for no apparent reason.. 😕

Adopting Veer

1) If they showed nivritti secretly going all alone to the lake or just with one daasi that would have been better – she is not going to suicide in front of everyone!!! 😭And there she finds the basket!!

2) If atleast some sort of a celebration was present to welcome Veer😳.. or the kings and queen come seeking Nivritti to the lake worried (as she was in labour and then they received no news of her yet) these small small things explain stuff so much better – they should have celebrated veer's birthday

Babies growing up

what about some sort of a sisterly relationship between the queens as they watch their babies fall and grow… 😳

1) What about a few cute scenes of baby veer snatching something from baby dharam and dharam crying while arya and the queens laugh.. i would have wanted to see these scenes when they are really naughty and the viewers would relate to this when they are shown as grown ups

2) I was hoping atleast for gurukul scenes.. what about their education? In the gurukul they could have always shown Dharam as being good at his lessons, concentrating and answers lessons, rajnithi etc.. while veer is good at combats and superceeds all other children in sports, Puzzles, games, treasure hunts etc..

Dharam and Veer

Again according to the storyline... dharam and veer are equal contemporaries - their paths separate in life thats all... dharam is quiet, suave, handsome, placid, not ready to mischief slightly more responsible type while veer as the bubbly, naughty, feisty, ready to fight for his rights cute warrior - I am also a big big fan of RT but I really felt Dharam's role should be moulded better… he seems too whiny! He has such a peaceful loveable face and a good actor with no strength in his character at all…. what fun is the serial if we cant watch thakkars between two equals? 😕 dharam's character should be strong as him and veer should compliment each other. The skills dharam will have veer would like to have and vice versa.

Personally I think RT and VM have better chemistry than PRC and his friends – (think of the PRC episodes when they started) but its not being tapped properly. They just including some catchy dialogues which will not work!!!

I so want this serial to do well.. as I am so attached to it because of my friends at IF… because I absolutely love and adore RT (and his jodi with Mug)… Now there is something about vikrant I find nice too (obviously his potential needs to be tapped well by making his character better)…. and I am a BIG TIME sucker for history + romance… me too 😆

Please yaar don't bring Mugs now… please please don't – it sounds so silly… we dont even know dharam and veer properly.. please dont spoil the romance etc...

please show some more background, take one step at a time and explain happenings better before bringing her in.. i think mughda should not come in now and i think dharam should have someone as well. I would like to see veer teasing dharam about his girlfriend and dharam teasing veer as well. 😆

👏 👏 What a wholesome analysis Shraddha!Too good 😉 only that I don't want this too to go unnoticed like our PRC demands after all what you have said are some basic things which even a 3hour hindi masaala movie does not fail to incorporate,this serial can stretch to an year or two easily,so what's the hurry 😕 ........kaunsi train miss ho rahi hai 😆

There are so many questions that keeps on arising even in an amateurs brain,why can't the serial makers see to it,Now I can't close my brain and watch the serial just because it is going on in the idiot box.The saddest truth is it stars wonderful actors like Rajat Tokas,Harssh Rajput and Vikrant massey whom I strongly feel should not go unnoticed 😭

Imagine Harssh as Pundir 👏 I cannot forget those serious eyes,the tragedy is now he is doing a role which looks so ugly on him.People go from better to best,here he is going in the opposite direction 😭

Those who haven't seen Dhoom Machhao Dhoom,please go and watch one episode of Vikrant,he was way too good in it than Dharamveer,his chemistry with the female lead Maanvi was so subtle and beautiful 😳

And Rajat....well we all know him 😆 but again I repeat,please bring out the best of him,he is a genius,don't waste his talents. 😭 .This includes over exposure too

i agree with that... i love RT and everyting but i think Vicky should be given equal screen space.
his a great actor and i'v began to like him😆

On a serious note...I agree wit every word u hv written..it just takes few minutes of organised n logical thinking from d part of d Sagars...It wud hv made a hude difference to all the viewers!! 👏
We all know dat Rajat is a brilliant actor n d Sagars...who hv given us sumthin as beautiful as PRC...but what abt people watchin DV n Rajat for d 1st time?? 😕 Dey definitely won't hv a strikin impression!!
N as Nishkala rightly pointed out...If u see few episodes od Dhoom Macha Dhoom...all will know dat Vikrant is a damn gud actor...he's natural...he carries a particaular role with gr8 ease!! 👏
We wud love to see a tough competetion between these two wonderful actors!!! 😊 Gr8 for us as viewers n also both d cators...who will compete n bring d best of themselves onscreen!! 👏

Also Nish u r right, even a 3 hr film can cover all tiny and imp details, then why not a daily soap? Why they made haste in introducing DV? 😕 Make story and characters strong enough for the audience(specially viewers who doesn't know RT or PRC), to get attached with serial.

And a request to those who are in contact with Sagar Arts...... please send them this link😊 and tell them that we r their well-wishers and want to see this soap a super-hit and blopperless one. The concept is good, actors r brilliant, just need to focus on points lashy mentioned.

lashy, all the points u have mentioned r really great.. n if implemented it cld make much more impact than it is doing now..
actually sagars made this serial for rajat.. so everything that u see.. n will be seeing will revolve around rajat only... they r banking on his popularity n fan following..
now that rajat is in hospital for 21 days.. n then he might spend2-3 weeks in his house taking rest.. n then be back in serial .. but might not do action n other tough scenes for some more weeks.. sagars have got in a fix.. so they r trying to include more flashbacks in each episode.. n trying to twist the story a little.. so other actors might get a chance to prove themselves..
i am sorry if i sound harsh.. but thats a fact.. other actors r now getting a chance to prove themselves bcos rt is in hospital

I agree Lashy 👏 very well said. From the very first episode one keeps thinking that this King Aryavardhan (or whoever) is not aware of the condition of shramiks from 15-18 years? He doesn't step out of his mahal? What kind of a king is he? and his ppl. consists of ONLY shramiks the labourers , no farmers no traders , no neighbouring states ,nobody else? is this a 13th century story or story dating back to BC?

The shramiks are making the same old mahal from 15 years? What exactly are they making? The King is sitting in his same old palace from the time we know him!

The action scenes are good but they don't make any sense. Take for example the scene where Dharam Veer r hiding themselves from the soldiers.. DV are running, running , running , frm the window to doors to houses but for what? The body guards of Arya nagar don't recognize their rajkumars?

Coming to Dharam & Veer, Dharam's character is not at all given importance . It luks as if he can't do a nything without Veer's help. Veer is making the plans, he is implementing them, he is helping everybody n Dharam is a spectator. Dharam comes in the end to take the credit i guess..

I think PRC's character from day 1 was more powerful and well defined rather than Veer. RT luking gr88 here , he's looking well groomed, his character is author backed , he's the backbone of DV..but still I prefer watching him in PRC than DV.
