Well look at it this way:

Dharam told Veer that Now they are against each other
Dharam also said Just watch what I do now!
Veer SAW the sainik leaving from the Shramik village
Veer gets home and finds everyone slaughtered
Veer is told by Shramik that Sainiks did it on Dharams order
Veer believes Shramik because why would they lie? And that IS what they were told!
Veer goes to confront Dharam and is told by Rajsaba the same thing that Shramik told him!
Veer doesnt think that Rajsaba are against Dharam Why would they be? They chose him to be King!
So Veer by now is really angry plus hes hurting PLUS He thinks Dharam has turned Evil
Veer we know is ziddi and impulsive and acts first thinks later
So thats why he fought him

So yes I am glad that Dharam is back to being Good Dharam cause hes not that great when hes being Evil Dharam (apart from the fact that he looks Hotter) But I am actually feeling more for Veer right now than Dharam. I mean Dharam didnt even stop Veer leaving!

oh those days.............i was feeling sorry for both dharam n veer............veer was just not speaking anything........ n dharam.....he was trying to make RS understand..... then make veer understand......... n finally had to take upt he throne......

n that scene were veer comes to meet nivriti.......... dharam says "i have not stopped him bua, he left on his own wish"........but that eyes were showing that he wanted veer back.

n y'day too..thru nivriti dialogues, v cld see how much dharam misses veer
