And so DZK finally ends...

DZK - One of the few ITV soaps which I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. I made sure to watch the episodes at sharp 12 am everyday.

Surely the show had flaws but it never overpower the essence of the show - so many human layers were portrayed without being over-dramatic. The character arc for all the original faces were very well explored.

On a quick note, I am kind of glad that writers didn't give Deepika the prefect ending with her mother and family. maybe cos they knew she has a family she created on her own to stand by her - her juniors, friends and colleagues. Unlike many people on forum, I find Deepika and Nikhil a great couple. Abhay gave her support she needed as a friend just like devangana, but nikhil is the companion she always looked for. And I really really appreciated that they gave glimpse of vikrant as well. Whatever happened btw them, it helped them be better human beings - Vikrant has started the healing journey and i wish him the best. I am glad they could appreciate each other's growth now without any complexities. I just feel sad for additi but thats how life is.

Anways, back to party - I loved having the old group back - abhay, wasim, sia and murgiwala, then PC and madhvi tai, our vibrant isha - and the new faces - sameer, veer, devangana! - they actually brought more clarity to FMS flock!! Yes, I wish there were few more moments btw abhay and deepika, few more btw nikhil and rest of Deepika's junior, some conversation btw sia and her dad, few scenes with abhay's mom, prince and wasim gossiping a bit, Dr Ali with his gyan, even our MBA Jamshed...... Yes, last week was in haste, it was a limited series and we can't get everything after all! BUT Vikrant's cameo kind of made it up for me on personal level!

I am happy we had such a refreshing series and I am so gonna miss it. Well done writers, actors, and everybody involved in creating the show - plz take a bow!! And all DZK forum members - it was such a pleasure to read your opinions, discuss and have conversations - Thank you to all of you as well!!

DZK will be missed and I hope there is a season 2. Now from what I have read from your review is that the characters got their closure especially Vikrant😉

I couldn't watch this week episodes entirely though. After Vikrant, Abhay and Wasim left, everything seemed forced to me.

I will watch the last episode to give a farewell.

I know it's a finite series but still I feel it all went too fast and that DZK deserved more.
